I am looking for a private server host.. I couldn't get my friend to join through aternos.. any ideas?

Open you wallet. Bout the only way you're going to get a reliable, decent server host. Server hosting isn't a charity.

i can host ur server if u want i have another pc without use and can be online 24/7

Astrocraft25, a VPS is a Virtual Private Server. Again, if you want a reliable and good server hoster, you either have to pay a few dollars a month or get a sponsorship. Otherwise, just stick to making your own whitelisted server. There are lots of guides to making servers.

unfortunately, my router has a passcode on it so it is impossible for me to host here.

Hello again Astocraft25! I have a solution for that but I don't know if it will work. There is a website which lists a bunch of default usernames and passwords. First, try "admin" and leave the password blank. Or try "admin" then for the password, type "password". If it doesn't work still, go to this website.
