Hi, this is my first forum, I'm new texture pack creator, I know a lot of thing to do texture packs but not all so I wanted to know if somebody can help me to make the water looks like this:
I want the water EXACTLY looks like this (the color tint too)
My problem is that my texture pack is for mcpe 1.14 and I also investigated and I noticed that for up to mcpe 1.5 you need to put some extra files (water_flow_grey.png and water_still_grey.png) this textures should be grey and with a file you can edit called "biomes_client.json" you can define the color tint of the original grey texture. This is a little bit problematic cause I also know how this file works but I haven't found the color that will make the grey texture have the same aspect like this image so can someone tell me the color code that will make the grey textures get the same aspect like this image.
Also If you want to help me but you don't know how to help I'll tell you how:
You can help me by finding a color that will make my minecraft water looks like the first image at this post, you may ask yourself ¿You've the file of the water that you want to looks like, then what's the trouble? The answer I explained at this post but I'll tell you, this image doesn't affect the water texture just the grey images (they're on the previous links) these grey images are connected with a file called "biomes_client.json" that file defines the color tint of the grey water textures, you can edit the tint but I haven't found a color that makes the grey water textures looks like the previous image Now I'll tell you how you can help me (It will be a little bit tedious cause to get the result is difficult cause is a randomly result I mean, you must put the color you think will make the color looks like I want in the file but then you should check the result by going to minecraft and if it doesn't look as I said I wanted to look like you'll have to try with another color and another color until you get the correect water texture, also I'm not lazy cause right now Im' trying with different colors)
2.- Open it with wordpad (I talk in spanish so the next screenshots are from the spanish version of word pad)
3.- You'll see this:
4.-Don't edit nothing, just minimize the page and type in google "color picker"
and you should select a the color you think will make the water grey texture looks like the first image and a little bit down you should copy the numbers of the hex page and you should overwirte all "#0096FF" with the text you copied
You must change (if the text you copied have letters)the lower case letters for uppder case letters
5.-After this put the biomes_client.json and the grey textures files on a texture pack and try your luck opening a world with the texture pack activated with the with the files, if the water looks like the first image upload the biomes_client.json to mediafire or mega and pass me the link and screenshots of how the water looks in the comments, I will answer the comment to make you to know if the water looks like I wanted, this must be just on bedrock edition. if it doesn't looks like the first image repeat the steps from 2 to 5 until the water looks like the first image of this post, the biomes_client.json file should be in the next location: games/com.mojang/resource_packs/the resource pack you want to put the file
and the grey textures on this location: games/com.mojang/resource_packs/the resource pack you want to put the file/blocks
Also i'll update this post if I get the color to make the water look like I wanted before getting an asnwer.
