This is, as of its name, is a command-block-less Minevolution. It is working because of the generator, described in the next section. The only command block here is the "Getting Wood" block, because of the lack of wood generators. It will be added, if the villagers are added. This map was created in 1.8.9 but later ported to 1.9.
There is a cobblestone generator below the map. That explains why the Y level is so high. Then, there is a redstone clock, fast enough to power the piston every second, so it might lag a bit. It pushes the cobblestone a lot up. The villagers are gotten from the /summon command.
My next plan is to add a butchery, where you can kill animals (cows?) and then you can trade it for other things, you can trade beef, you can get coal to cook, you can trade leather... and maybe add a monster challenge.

Great a replacement for minevolution... That thing was getting old. Ok, I'll start up the map and tell you what I think.
EDIT 1: Good job with the cobblestone generator, that was cool. Maybe put the shops actually in the starting area?
