Been working lately on a pack sharing website, if anyone has anything to add would i would appreciate it

~TO DO Snip~
IF you have any more ideas I would greatly appriciate it I want to make this website a place where artists have the abbility to share their packs like they want to, and to let the users browse these packs with ease.
- If you can only have so many files for your packs or a total size limit (Ex: a total of 100Gb limit), then show how much you have used so far. Also if a pack has mod support (add-on or in the pack) then have an option/tag/filter/whatever to say "Hey, I have mod support" & you can search for packs that have mod support.
- MAYBE a tag for packs that have custom sounds, languages, models in their packs (obviously with a tag/filter/option in it for searches).
- Twitter registration too (maybe)
- (Question) How would you make custom domains work? (Ex: faithful.example.com)?
- Make me controller/mod/admin of the site

- I am planing on moving the website to a dedicated machine if it is a success, when i do that there will be a free hosting option for artists to host their packs. for now you will just have to upload them somewhere and post the download link like you are now. Sadly im on a tight budget (my payment is low) and i cant afford to start on a dedi machine.
- Will see what I can do about the mod support / etc tags, how to implement them and so on. Probably doable
- I will add more social media integration, that should be the easy part if people need it
- Yes custom SUBdomains work like that, you get a subdomain for your pack that redirects you to your pack page, so you dont have to paste a messy looking link when sharing the pack, you can just use a pack.domain.space
Indeed I do.
For a while I used Qubicle to build voxel models, then import them into BD Cubik PRO, after which I'd manually optimize them, then add a texture. This was an extremely arduous process and as a result I was incapable of making very detailed models.
With the recent release of Cubik Studio, however, my voxel models can be loaded directly into Cubik Studio and converted to elements at the click of a button. There are still some hurdles to overcome, scaling and rotation can prove to be a bit of an issue, but if you know what you're doing you can make some extremely detailed models with ease. It's merely time consuming to make each one, as I'm still figuring out a proper workflow.
Hey, if you ever make this into a mod, please PM me, i would love to see how i can texture these bad boys in 256x256

This is really remarkable! Crazy detailed. I'm curious... do these kinds of models cause much lag in game?
Has anyone tried animating the observer texture at all? I'm not sure if it's because I've not done any mc texturing in a while or if it's bugged but I can't get the front to animate. Here's the texture:

That's the filenames. I can't see any obvious errors so any help would be appreciated!
I can see an obvious error. It should be "observer_front.png.mcmeta".
sounds.json is a file used by the sound system in resource packs which tells the sound system what sound files to play when a sound event is triggered by one or more in-game events. This file is located in assets\minecraft in resource packs, and the default file is located in .minecraft\assets\objects [minecraft/assets/objects on a Mac] and its hashed name can be found by looking it up in the file .minecraft\assets\indexes\<version>.json

Models look great

Make sure it has MySpace integration. hehehehe
hahaha xD
End stuff
Now we're talking, looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Working on some stuff
How are these made, may I ask? You use a 3D modeling software then convert it to JSON?

I'd imagine it would loose it's voxel-based appeal if you textured in a higher res...
It may or may not, but I can still try and see how it looks?

Made a pot. It looks more like a hopper though.
Thanks for that, I guess I'll submit a bug report for it then and leave it as a single texture for the moment.

I hope that helps you.
So I'm going through my items, editing them and here's a before and after with the apple, golden apple, flint, and bowl
Top: Before
Bottom: After
Oh man, that was it... Woops!
Thanks a bunch for that alv, now working as intended.
Was highly unhappy with my books, so I redid them
(just realized I should add a cast shadow on the book and quill)
I also redid my sand.
How does it look? (I know about the horrible tiling issue, that'll be fixed with random variants)
Anyone know what the folder structure of the new 1.11 entity sounds is? I can't seem to find them in 1.11.jar...
