I love what you've done with this pack! I use it with PR Luminance. Is there any way to tone down the amount of bloom slightly? Night looks fine (albeit the sky is slightly bright) but in the daytime it hurts my eyes a bit, especially when there's snow on the ground. My brightness is set to 'moody'. Thanks!

You can alter it in the shader files. Look in the .zip and mess with it

It would be sorta helpful if you could point me towards exactly what to mess with, just seeing as I don't want to break the pack. Does one of the files contain a numerical value, or is it more complex than that (I suspect it is)? Do you mean the assets>minecraft>shaders folder, and if so what files do I look at from there? What would I use to edit the stuff that isn't .json? I'm not terribly experienced with shaders and if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.Thanks.

You mess with those. To open non-json's, use Notepad++
I put it in my texture pack folder, selected it, and didn't notice hardly a difference between normal and Bloom lighting. Do you need a High definition graphics card to see the difference?
Edit: Wait, nvm. Super Secret Settings. Hehe. Riiiigggghhhhttttt. ;P

People have there opinions, some like bright, some don't
Speaking of which, do you think you could make some less intense variants of this? I tried myself but there are so many files and I have no idea what I'm doing!

I could if enough people would want it lol I thought this thing was kinda dead
No, people just kinda surrendered since you never took them as a significant part of the users and you kept saying that that's how bloom was supossed to work, even when I showed with pics of modern games that it wasn't true. But I remember some pages ago a lot of people were asking for it.
Bloom is not supposed to be bright, bloom can be bright, that depends on the scene. For example, when you're in a cave or outside but it's night time, this mod looks awesome, specially the moon and the torches, but when it's daytime and although the bloom lowers itself according to screen brightness, the grass looks sometimes like if it was radioactive and the sky doesn't seem sky anymore but more like just a white background.

Minecraft is limited though, and I based it off Elder Scrolls Oblivion, which was very bright
Yes, works for any version with Super Secret Settings

LOL Glad you got it figured out lololol
Awesome, works great for me. Can't wait to share it with friends on my server ^^
This could be a very useful "sometimes" choice for making videos. It's very dream sequencey. Was to bright for regular play for me though.
Although, as I am now playing around with different texture packs, it does add to the really dark ones.
Okay final opinion:
Dangerously bright for texture packs that are already bright, good for texture packs that are way to dark already.
Glad you both like it
I use it all the time; just adjusting my brightness to Moody or so for those problematic texture packs.

Does anyone know a similar resourcepack, excluding PR Lumiance?
Because sadly this doesn't work with my 6770M, while my integrated Intel HD 4600 CAN run it, but is of course not strong enough for good fps...
