This update took three days to do, mostly because of all of the entities like the boats and the new zombie villagers. This brings the total amount of time worked on this pack to somewhere around 40 days. Not bad for a speed challenge, eh?
Although if I'm honest I can tell it's not the highest quality pack in the world, I'm surprised at how much I still dig this - it really does look so delicious! Makes me crave candycanes. I'm going to use this for my overworld texture next time I play Candycraft.

I don't have any candy cane-related textures in this pack and suddenly I'm unsure as to why.
Yes, the quality is a bit low but it's still better than a lot of other packs so I'm pretty happy about that. I'm glad that you're enjoying it, and I hope your Candycraft game goes well.
I am rather picky about my resource packs. I LOVE this one!
I'm happy that you love it!
It's interesting to me that some people look at it and immediately recognize it as being low quality while other people look at it and immediately fall in love with it. It's such an oddly divisive pack that I created for my speed run. I'm very pleased about that.
It took me WAAAaaaaaaaaaayyy too long to get around to this:
Let me know what you think. Feedback is greatly appreciated, and ultimately necessary since I need motivation to keep this going. I know it has fans, but you all need to be a little more vocal if you want me to keep working on this. It makes next to no money, so I need feedback to keep me going.

I like the magma(?) and the nether wart block, but the mix of noise and high saturation on the netherack make for a serious eye-burn effect.

Interesting. To me the netherrack looks like the less noisy block in comparison to the magma (bottom-right). Even the quartz ore (top-left) seems more noisy to me, but whatever. Also, none of the reds are highly saturated in this pack. The emphasis is on green, so all of the reds and purples are pretty muted.
This is one of those instances where I'm worried that what I'm seeing is WAY different from what everyone else is seeing.

Sorry, wrong word. I meant contrast, not saturation.
I've been playing with this pack, and it's pretty nice. I don't know what a speed run means. I do like mint though.
"Speed Run" refers to the fact that I did everything as fast as I could while still trying to maintain a certain level of artistic integrity. Making a resource pack generally takes a lot of time. Many artists spend an entire day on a single texture. With this pack, I jammed them out as fast as I possibly could just to see how quickly I could make a 100% complete resource pack. Turns out even putting minimal effort into quality it still takes over a month at this resolution.
I'm glad you like it even though it was as much a personal challenge as it is a complete product!
It's not fully updated just yet, but I'm working on it. My free time is somewhat more limited these days, and I'm honestly more interested in other pack projects than I am this one. As such I intend to do this a few items a week rather than all at once like I've done previously. Hopefully you fine people don't mind.
"Mint Flavor" v.3.03 is now updated for Minecraft 1.12.1
Changes to this version include:
● Partially updated to Minecraft 1.12
● Updated Crafting Table GUI
● Added Knowledge Book item
● Added Illusionist Illager
● Added new colored Bed textures (16 textures)
Still not fully up to date, but closer to it. I'm mainly stuck on the Terracotta. Hopefully nobody minds to much if I take my time with this. I honestly haven't been inspired to do much art of any kind recently, so that's why these updates are taking a while. I'm planning an update to Sanity next Friday, and hopefully the final 1.12 update for this the week after that.
Thank you for your patience, and feedback is STILL greatly appreciated.
Hi, can i have permission to port this to Minecraft: Pocket Edition please? I will link back to this thread when i publish the port!
This pack is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 International License. This is prominently displayed in the opening post of the thread, and is included with the pack itself. If you cannot read, do not understand, or do not wish to follow this license then the answer is "NO". I'm sorry if this sounds like a harsh response, but I have this pack released under that license specifically so that I do not have to deal with these questions.
And to clarify, this specifically means that you may NOT under any circumstances post a pack containing my textures on the Minecraft Store. I sincerely hope you weren't thinking of doing that, but in case you were then there's my stance on that.
Thank you!
Let me know what you think of it. I love reading people's thoughts on my work. Even "challenge" packs like this one.
Tried it. And loved it. It runs fairly well on the piece of junk that is my computer, so props to you there.
