Whenever I place a certain stair, it turns into a pink and black texture. It only happens to L shaped stairs.
Same here, its for all the stair blocks with a different texture top. Like brick stairs and stone brick stairs. I didn't like the top texture for the cobblestone so I made it the same as the side texture and have no issue with cobblestone stairs.
And regarding the foliage texture. I meant it doesn't have blank parts. So we can't see through the foliage. Even the vanilla textures has blank parts and use transparency. It bothers me tbh especially because your textures are well detailled so you could make better ones using that feature.
Hey! I love your texture pack! It's the main one I use while playing survival nowadays.
I'm not sure if you take requests, but I'm about to start building a vineyard in my world, and I was hoping to use beetroots as the grapes and beetroot stew as wine. Would it be possible for you to make a few textures in the summerfields style for me to use? Like a cluster of red grapes and a bottle of wine?

Sorry, I'm not too good at making textures, but I love this idea so much I feel like it could be fitting to summerfields as well? I'm not a fan of how the beetroots look, or beetroots in general. But a grapevine would take two blocks to look good and be realistic. I do feel like there's a need for a beetroot upgrade though.
Do you get it when I talk about the tree foliage? XD I put the parameter on "fancy". I don't understand. Summerfields is the only pack with that problem.
I should have tried without optfine alright... let's see... Oh!
It looks normal without optifine. I really wonder why. I tried several parameters, no change. Why does Optifine mess it up? And only with Summerfields apparently. -_O
Can you try figure it out? Shoudn't be so hard. It's something about the textures themselves right? The transparency color or such, I don't know.
Hey, so I'm no artist but I created textures of a wine bottle and some grapes, if anyone wanted to use my idea of wine/grapes instead of beets/beetroot. Let me know if you like them!
I really love your pack. Everything look awesome, everything.
I also like the planks but a detail bother me on those.
It doesn't look right on floors. I mean, it suits well a wall or even a ceiling but the texture doesn't look "flat" as a floor should be, if you know what I mean.
I like making wooden floors in my houses and such, but I prefer planks to look like the vanilla ones regarding the "flat" look, I mean with no vertical part on sides, to put it simply.
I don't want you to replace the actual ones but maybe just make alternates, please, for every kind of wood.
so after a long time of being annoyed by potted saplings protruding out of pots, i decided to do something about it
-link removed, new version posted below-
what i did was i told the game to use different textures for all potted plants, i edited those textures to fit within the pot and have no bits poking out of it. it also means potted flowers can look very different from wild ones if you choose to make them
i made custom json files for all potted plants, saplings, flowers, the dead bush(and modified your mushroom change to follow suit), i also removed your fern model that chopped off the underside(looked bad honestly) in favor of an adjusted texture that simply tucks the leaves neatly into the flowerpot
i added a new subfolder in the textures called "potted" to keep all the new textures together and tidy, so it's easier to swap or modify them, the file names are the same as default so you can switch alternate textures as you please without needing to change names
a number of the json files are redundant, as a bunch of plants didn't need any changes, but they were included for the sake of completeness, that way you can customize all potted plants at your whim in the "textures/blocks/potted" folder
i'm using a lot of flower textures from the older summerfields threads, so each tulip is a different shape from each other, and a bunch of other flowers are distinctly different, i think it may work nicer for home decor if there is more variety to their shape since they now use their own textures, feel free to revert them back or make any changes, this is just a resource to build on top of anyway
i went and reworked my files to include the new randomized flowerpots on github and the dead bush variant i missed the first time through, i went and created JSON files so EVERY SINGLE PLANT has the four new random flowerpots, in addition to using their own unique plant textures separate from the world models
as before, all the potted plants have been adjusted to fit inside their pots without messing with the textures for wild plants or ones placed outside, and you can change the textures around to your liking
keep in mind the plants in the flowerpots look a bit different from the ones you see in the wild, they're older alt textures i liked from previous posts in the summerfields threads

Is that normal that tree foliage doesn't have any transparent parts?
Thank you!!!! Everything looks good!
The texture doesn't have any blank part. It looks normal tho. No bug. But then the foliage looks blocky, if you know what I mean.
And yes I use Optifine and Minecraft 1.9.2.
Is it just me or is the download button not working on the website? I clicked the download button under the 1.9.X banner but it doesn't do anything...
Anyways, judging from the screenshots this pack looks amazing. Great job!
Looks nice. But I don't recognize the white blocks and the white mob who looks like a bear and the stuff in the third picture... XD Mods ?
I only play vanilla Minecraft 1.9.2 and I might not know everything about it since I stopped playing for a quite long time.
Cool... but it means I'll have to start a new game... XD
So that white thing is a bone block. Does it really appear in caves? XD
I really like your textures. Mobs are great.

Ok, there's something weird about it.
On the web site, I looked at the pictures, the trees look "normal".
But in my game, it looks like this:

I use optifine ultra B5 for Minecraft 1.9.4.
Fancy or fast, exactly the same.
I should have tried without optfine alright... let's see... Oh!

It works, thank you very much.
Pretty. Relaxes me and makes me think of when I used jolicraft back in beta 1.7.

lipki, I have a suggestion.

also i went and prepared it as a resource pack so you can load it in right away, the new download is here http://www.mediafire.com/download/s0m55ny919kg1cd/Summerfields Flower Pot Overhaul.zip

Hi all!
first let me say... your pack is amazing! luv it.
found something weird tho.
When Stairs placed upside down, placed from the left (left block first) the corner placement is correct.
placed from the right tho (right block first) the corner placement is turned 90° or does just look like it is.
doesnt occur with other resourcepacks so its not me
tested with or without optifine
tested all kinds of stairs, only happens with brick-stairs and stone-brick-stairs.
dont think it is a feature?
Greetings.
Edit:
solved by deleting the blockstate file stone_brick_stairs.json and brick_stairs.json,
so something is wrong with those.
Edit:
changed directions in rows 35 to 42 solved it:
