If we don't already have one, I have a (Lore friendly) idea for the bone blocks that were added. I was thinking robot parts. The reason being bonemeal is hydronic batteries and the way you normally get them is from raider pouches (To be implied they scavenged them) and since a big part of bone blocks is the new skeleton structures, they'd be converted into giant robot remains. and it's also make sense when some pieces are replaced with battery containers (Coal ore). It's just an idea if you didn't already have one and I'd do it myself but i don't know how to texture or where to start...

that is a good idea, however the texture looks more like a big battery.... (i made it on the basis it is made up of them batteries(bonemeal))
Back when I started to play MC however long ago that was, I got into texture packs, mainly Dokucraft & Last Days when History worked on it, over time I forgot about them & I come back to see this I thought it became abandoned!

I'm super psyched to see how this texture pack is progressing!!!
Also, for anyone who can fix it, there's a texture bug with spiders. It has to do with the ends of their legs. the 'Bottoms' Of their legs are supposed to be red, right? Well on one side, it's not there, and if you turn the spider invisible you can see the red texture (Which glows, so it shows up when they're invisible) is actually clumped together in the body for some reason
(Edit: I'm kinda dumb, the red part of the texture is just at the wrong end of the legs

I have some ideas:
Experienced Bandit (Stray): Elderly but hardy survivors of the war who took refuge in the relatively pristine cold areas of the world, they are respected by all bandits and they also take care of small communities of them, despite the harsh environment they are sympathetic towards other survivors as they want to ensure the survival of the human race, unlike the lost they maintain peace with the masked and are most likely the reason that bandits never attack them, they will attack you however as they see you as a threat, they have a special poison that limits muscle movement that they coat their bullets with.

(Continued)
Snapper (Polar Bear): as with some humans most bears that survived the war fled to colder climates and because of the scarcity of surviving prey have developed jaws that are sideways like a beetle and clamp down like a pit bull.
Experiment 10 (Husk): Before the war O.I. Experimented with cybernetics that could possibly extend a human's life, the test subjects died of radiation during the war but their malfunctioning cybernetics continue to drag their dead bodies around, lashing out at anything their code perceives as a threat.

Also, done lingering potions and stuff.

So am I
well, if you wanna see the progress, its on github, there should be a link in the OP
Also, @BrilliantLight
That could be a nice alt version. Lot's of other stuff, eg blazes have alt stuff, which makes the pack more 'customazable' in a way.
As for the texturing, I started byuising bits from other texturtes. I used pixlr.com, which is sorta like online photoshop
EDIT: I got all the lore together
here: https://github.com/Gwolfski/LAST_DAYS/tree/1.9-Remastered/assets/lore

We know, but we don't really have anyone to update the massive mess of the translations.
I feel like doing some mod support. Also, where is the person that manages GitHub? I made some updates!
unable to get 1.10.x
https://github.com/sukar42/LAST_DAYS/archive/1.9-Remastered.zip this one will work with it
but texturing is not finished for 1.10
you must re-zip it for it to work.
Or just extract it.
Btw, what IS missing for 1.10? Elytra, polar bears... and?
Guys, 1.11 is coming out with more mobs.
thats bad, i cant texture mobs...
they say that there will be a few more fast updates... until 1.14 0r 1.15
We need to somehow get more people here. How far has the texturing gone for 1.8/1.9?
1.8 and 1.0 are finished (i think)
low priority: New command blocs, structure blocks (noone uses them much)
High prioroty: Polar bear, husk and the skeleton thingy, the illagers(1.11) Thats all, i think. Oh, and lang files. Ill do those.
edit: elytra, shulker, shulker chest (1.11)
