hey Axeltopolino I have not used your program yet, but i hope it does what i need it to do.
As a zbrush artist and blender poly modeller, i have been looking for something to bring creations into your program so it can be exported for use in minecraft.
Techne is kind of complicated for me, and does not offer animation support. I also have not found a suitable addon for blender to help with exporting or fixing UV errors.
I know you are working hard on this, but possibly a future idea/request if you can, have a way to convert exported OBJ's into virtual data for your 3d modelling program.
just OBJ format, not rigs or animation or anything, just the file format. I feel that way, not only could people use your program for modelling, but it could be a useful program as well for others working in 3d studio max, blender, maya, etc to bring their work over to refine it, or just to use it as an exporting feature as well.
i will grab this today and figure out how to make some stuff and animate it. ill post some screenshots of my work when im finished.

Hello pixelghostt, the blender importer/exporter feature is already in our TODO list, but we are really happy many people are asking for this feature
We will let you import Obj files soon, but your model will have to respect some parameters (like using the UV correctly and making only boxes as meshes).
Please be aware that the current released version is only a sneak peek and if you do a model now, it won't work with the upcoming first official release!
Please give us few days and we will release it. Also we are going to make several tutorials on how to use the MCAnimator, so stay tuned for more news
Speaking from personal experience, text tutorials are infinitely more useful than youtube/video ones and take way less time ! They're much easier to reference, to attach code and find what you need =D. Plus, I have to imagine, they're easier to make too.

Definitelly, also they are easier to understand for non-english users. We will anyway provide both, because videos are useful for completely unexperienced users
Hmh? Coding? You don't need to "code" to make models for animation. However to make a complex animation rig it takes hours, which is the hard thing about it.
You don't need code for making models and animations when you have softwares like Blender and the MCAnimator. But if you ever need to add them into a game/mod you will surely need to know how to code. The MCAnimator will provide some dinamically-made java files in order to add your models+aniamtions into your mod in an easy way, but for interactions and AI a real modder is surely needed
Hey Axel can you already release a first stable build? Please, I can´t wait for it It´s like Christmas
Be patient my friend, we need to have a stable 1st release so later we will be able to add tons of features without breaking everything Give us few more hours and you'll able to play with the MCAnimator
Yes, I know that. But this is an animation mod. Animations don't need any coding at all, the only code if you would even call it 'code' is setting options for a project, such as transparency of a block, etc.
I know what you mean, but techincally this is not a mod at all. It's a software + an API that you should implement in your own mod.
But I got your point and you're right
You guys near done debugging yet?
When we will release the first stable version (almost done, max a week)
The official first release will be avaiable in the next few days, we almost finished the debugging session!
Almost ready
Yes, almost finished, trying to be sure everything will be ok

We have officially started the final debug version today. We found only 1 bug so far, so it won't be a long waiting

Nope, few hours is relative, could be tomorrow maybe
Leave a diamond if you enjoyed my stuff.
Oh wait, this isn't Planet Minecraft...
Dude, not to be rude, but you seriously need to learn how coding works. Schematics are buildings or structures made of blocks, not models for mobs
Could be
Oh yes, we will release the first version in the next 3 hours
In few days we will release many new versions which will contain several new features (like Mac and Linux support).
Happy modelling,
