This is an amazing plant mod, i very much plan to use it. I love mods that increase the biodiversity of the world. I especially like how you are doing bamboo, alot of mods that add bamboo make bamboo like sugar canes and saplings and not solid blocks, i've always found the more solid block version more attractive. In fact one of the main reasons i've been waiting to play 1.10 is for a mod that adds beautiful bamboo like this mod does, so keep up the good work.
This may seem a bit off topic but do you have plans to add different kinds of farm animals?
Thank you. I'm glad you like the mod.
Adding animals is something I've considered doing, and will probably be done at some point. If it does get done you'll definitely see goats, rams and guinea pigs at least. Not really sure what other animals might be interesting to add.
well i know their are ostritch farms so you could do ostritches, also quails and ducks are also farmed for their eggs. Though the king/queen of farm animals is
suprisingly a lot of animals on the farm serve multiple purposes like alpacas which are ridden and sheared for their fur which is softer then sheep fur

Those are some pretty good ideas for animals. I might use them for a later update.

i is full of ideas to be honest ^^:
though to be fair the alpaca thing came up cause of two reasons, one is that minecraft recently voted for llamas vs alpacas to be added to minecraft 1.11 llama's won, the other is its a really cute farm animal >.>
i could probably come up with a list of animals used on farms if you wanted.

Those are 20 animals that humans use for resources from leather and furs, to milk, meat and eggs. Some of them even have multiple species being farmed. Just to keep things Neat i'll put the 3 i suggested earlier below this so its all together.
1. Ostritch
2. Quail
3. Alpaca
Now my question is if you want to have mythical creatures farms as well.

These are all pretty good. I doubt i'll ever find time to add them all, but when i get around to adding some more farm animals, i'll use some of these.

well you can always add them in batches instead of adding them all at once, will you be adding mythical plants and animals possibly? or stick with real stuff

I'm not sure whether i'll be adding much mythical stuff. But one thing i am adding with the next update is the "Mutation Station" which at the moment, lets you mutate seeds and fish eggs into new plants and fish, and you'll also be able to mutate saplings into weird and wonderful trees eventually too, and i'm also considering adding the ability to mutate animals to create new ones for a variety of purposes.

oh so gene splicing. What fun did you know kiwi's grown on vines. Also how come the bushes don't grow, i have a gooseberry bush, and its just one bush for ever it doesn't grow bigger is that intentional?

Yeah, i realized that about kiwi's a few updates after i added them, its on my to do list to change them to a vine crop.
The bushes can grow up to three blocks high once they have grown fruits, they can take quite some time to grow additional blocks upwards though. So leave it with fruit on it for a while, and it should eventually grow.

ahh ok, was worried about that. want to have a berry bush grove of a bunch of different berry bushes at some point in my series ^^
Seen on "mint", "rosemary" and these things I'm a bit confused how to actually farm them. I see a "spreading allowed" in the config, but is that a necessity for getting more of these things?
(just looked again: it says "natural spawned herbs", so when I pick them up and plant them down myself it does spread?)
If you place one of those on the ground, they will spread on their own. I suggest placing non-dirt blocks around the area you plan to grow the herbs in or else they will overrun the area. If you break the herb, it will either drop as the herb to allow it to be placed elsewhere, or it will drop as the leaf/flower used in the tea making recipes.
Also, yes, they will not spread in the wild, but when placed by a player they will begin to spread, but it will take some time to start spreading.
The 0.9.0 update added a lot of new content. But in doing so, it changed all my blocks/items IDs. Is that a thing by itself? Or is it because of the interaction with other mods? Like if it didn't find enough adjacent IDs available for the new blocks/items, it moved all it content altogether somewhere else.
I changed the ModID of the latest version from cookingplus to agriculturalrevolution as the mod is no longer called Cooking Plus. I waited till this update as the new energy system is already a lot of changes, so i've tried to bundle them together so i don't spread out lots of world changing updates.
Thank you. I'm glad you like the mod.

The latest version of the mod is now released adding a lot of new machines and my own energy system. I hope you all enjoy it.
If you have any feedback or bugs please feel free to post them in this thread.
