Those are based on the real life tuatara, which live in New Zealand and have a "third eye", an area on their foreheads that is sensitive to light. Also they're not lizards; despite looking exactly like lizards, they are rhynchocephals.
Yeah their skulls are almost mammalian of all things. If I remember right they're a living fossil.
Do you have any plans on adding Griffins into the mod you know the creatures with a eagle head wings and front feet and have a lion back legs and torso. The would be a cool feature in the mod you could make the have nests in forest or something. It's just an idea
Blonde, brunette, redhead is much, much older than the Matrix, but yeah. Like a 36 24 36 sort of thing. Trying to think of how to describe it... Damn, suddenly I feel old... You Kids Make Me Feel Old!
I was thinking of the bit in the Hobbit where Bilbo is in Smaug's lair, invisible and came up with this:
Invis pots work like they do in vanilla on stage 1 and 2 dragons, they are confused by the seemingly sourceless sounds and smells but are too young/inexperienced to grasp their significance
Stage 3 dragons are starting to notice the connection between those strange sounds and smells and loot going missing and will sometimes attack invisible players that wander too close to their dens
Stage 4 and 5 dragons are wise to the idea of invisible creatures that try to steal their loot and will attack players regardless of whether or not they're invisible

Gryphons would just be buffed-up, larger hippogryphs. ._.
Gryphons are half eagle and half lion right? And hippogriffs are a hybrid of a gryphon and a horse, the horse being an animal that players can tame. So maybe gryphons could be a non-tameable version of hippogryphs that's always hostile? Still though that is a bit redundant and doesn't really add much to the game to be honest.
I just had a weird thought. Actually maybe this belongs in the F/A Revival thread but it's the same people working on both so whatever. So in a world where mythical creatures like dragons and hippogryphs are real, shouldn't there also be extinct mythical creatures? Maybe if F/A comes to 1.10 you could do something where having both mods installed unlocks all kinds of fictional fossils and extinct creatures. Maybe that's where the gryphon could go (so it's like an extinct predecessor of hippogriffs). Or you could have giants, behemoths, leviathans, something like that.

Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
Cyclops currently fill a similar role to what giants would play as they are planned to be 12 blocks/metres tall, no behemoths, while some sea serpents will be leviathan-sized and act as mini-bosses. Note that's if and when we get to that point. Fire Dragons then Ice Dragons are our top priority. The rest of the models are primarily made by me for fun and as a long time reserve as I can't model anywhere near as much when I return to university.
I have an idea. What if you made the Cyclops neutral, and you could trade with them (to get wool, and a new item: Large Shears), in exchange for meat, and wood.
Good.
I'm sorry, but I'm just not a fan of anthropomorphic animals.
will you guys add bigfoot?

Ice and Fire: Dragons in a whole new light
Ah, a fellow furry hunter!
I only play QUALITY mods like Orespawn and Lucky Blocks. No AoA, Betweenlands, Twilight Forest, or LOTR. (Sarcasm is so fun when it offends people)
I was just looking at the mermaids and naga preview and suddenly it hit me, "Blonde, Brunette, Redhead!" I don't know why but I just cracked up.

The Matrix???
I scored 91% on the Minecraft Trivia Quiz. How much do you know about Minecraft?

Dang this is amazing! But well, unfortunately I only plau on 1.7.10, the other versions are away too laggy and they lack mods ;-;
and just asking what versions of Minecraft is this for? i would like to know. p.s. this not a request this is a question.
There will be a version for 1.10, and I think one for 1.9
I play only with the top notch mods only, which instantly excludes orespawn and lucky blocks.
Your ammo are bullets-Admiral Bahroo 2016
1.10+, if I remember correctly.
I was trying to fit Heimskr's speech into this place, but it wouldn't fit.
will it be added to older versions of minecraft?!?
will it then be added to older versions?
I think I remember them saying no.

PixelQuest 2, my new 1.10 RPG/rougelike-inspired modpack, is coming soon!
