1. Are only animals that are needed for genetics going to be added? Like osrtiches and elephants, or will some will just be added to help diversify the mods modern fauna (such as seagulls)?

What you fail to understand is that not everyone wants to see Jurassicraft suck up and destroy mods that you think are beneficial to yours. We completely merged bygone age and we were behind on model revamps for the mammals so we disabled them in the creative menus and survival world. However we took the concepts introduced by bygone and furthered them, we didn't suck it up and destroy it where do you think the genetic quality came from? Where do you think the genetic code that determines gender, size, and mob stats came from? Or the dinoPad? Or what about the cultivating system that requires nutrients and water buckets? Yeah that was all from bygone age. Speaking of carboniferous, look at what we did? We revived the goddamn mod, the only issue was that the code was so complex that it was breaking things, wondered why there were lepidodendron leaves and logs and why it was called carbon log? We don't either, it's a special thing that the original coder made to make adding in items easier.

Merging does not mean the mod that was merged remains standalone, keeping the mod standalone would just make it a mod that we happen to own or something. Mo'creatures isn't even a "they" it's only Dr.Zhark, but yeah once Atmosmobs was butting head to head with Mo'creatures, but for whatever reason Davey decided that redoing everything was a good idea. Lotsomobs is a relatively high competitor, but its content isn't all that high of a quality(no offense lars). Animals+ is still not as popular even though it is practically Atmosmobs 2.0, oceancraft is a strictly ocean content mod, and fantastic fish is a niche mod mostly due to it's concentration on only aquatic mobs.
So When will the release of JurassiCraft with WildCraft be out?
Maybe within the next two releases after JurassiCraft 2 is coded- which is as we speak. JurassiCraft 2 is simply a code overhaul in order to fix all bugs in JC.
