I have an Idea! #1 What if u make something that when u are in Disguise Mode the villagers dont get scared of you and the vampire hunters dont kill you #2 Make it when u are a Vampire and u hit a vampire/vampire villager it doesnt attack you #3 add an item that can tame vampire animals.That's all

I think vampires should only be truly killed by a couple things (anything else just immobilizes the vampire for like 20 seconds, and then they have a heavy slowness and blindness debuff for a couple seconds after that)
Things that could kill the vampire should be fire, lava, and maybe instant health potions (instant harming should heal)
Also, if you are in the sun and anything above level 1, you can die normally (the sun greatly weakens a vampire)
I assume a lot of vampire hunter weapons should kill vampires too.
At level 1 being a vampire u cant Actually get damage From daylight (That's what it said from the guide) well u will get damage if u are at lvl. 4-14 im actually at lvl. 14 so i need to be careful

After about 9 month, dozens of alpha versions, hundreds of hours of programming and with 350.000 lines of code (might contain a lot of auto-generated lines ) I'm proud to release the first actual "release"[not alpha/beta] of (the rewrite of) Vampirism.
This might not change too much for you, if you have played the latest alpha versions, since there are no new features in the release compared to them. But for me it means I can finally work on new features, I can release versions of different stability (release/beta/alpha, more below), Vampirism might become interesting for more people and there is a chance for other modders to add mod compatibility with Vampirism or even create a addon mod.

Before I continue, I think this is a good place to thank those who helped me a lot.
First of all there are Mistadon and wildbill22, who are unfortunately not working on Vampirism anymore, but I wouldn't have started it without them.
Then there are all the translators which made this mod available in 8+ languages (several more are in progress, feel free to help ;)), I cannot name them all, so here are just a few recently active translators: AnmaRR, jason-rexhai, MuhittinKilkuyruk, aroslinka and all the others, thank you
CptSprinkleface, Evillee03, sthomasw, leachstuff, etc. for keeping this thread running and Witchcrafter1 for keeping the server running.

Release types:
As of now there will be three different version types:
Release:
Should be stable (at least tested as much as possible).
Example name: 1.0.0 (Release of version 1.0.0)
Beta:
Created before a release and used to find all the bugs. No new features or major changes will be added before release once a beta is released.
If you don't mind a few minor bugs, please use this version and report any issue you stumble upon.
Example name: 1.0.0-beta.2 (Second beta of version 1.0.0)
Alpha:
Contains all the latest features and changes, but is not really tested. I try to make sure there are no game breaking bugs, but can't promise anything.
You probably don't want to use it in your "productive" world, but if you want to test or checkout the latest features, use this.
Example name: 1.0.0-alpha+09-01-15-49 (Alpha of version 1.0.0 released on 1. September at 15:49)
Next up:
Version 1.1 will probably bring some long requested smaller new features and 1.2 the vampire lord / hunter leader, but plans might change at anytime.

I think it should be a fairly large time to recover from dying as a vampire, mostly to balance issues. If you literally can't kill it, you should at least have a good chance to run away if you "defeat" it.

But I think that vamps should also have 'claws' ability, that gives them new weapon. Maybe transformation-type ability (for high level vampires), which prevents them from using items (and weapons) and makes punch stronger and faster (with visible claws). What do you think about it?

Meh, why claws? I think that was a different bloodline if it did. But even then it doesn't sound like it should go into the mod. Mabye it would if everyone was a cat. We are not and that's for more of wolverine. Also i see why you want more abilities to balance things out but max just did that with the books vampires are op enough we need a break on the abilities section ok?
Looks like you downloaded the 1.9.4 version of Vampirism.

You probably have to update Forge to the latest version as well.
