A good representation would be something like age, the more the dragon level he get smething like different wings, biggerrr, etc
If we had just one dragon, making him bigger would make sense. We have 8 and they are all different sizes, so just seeing one dragon bigger than the other could be deceiving as to which is the higher level.
Some of the dragons have particles, and possibly one way to do this would be to give all dragons some kind of particle over them. The fire dragon has smoke particles. I could adjust the amount of particles you see based on the level of the dragon. I would then just add these same particles to all of the other dragons too

In HTTYD,dragons go through a physical transformation with age. The oldest (Titan Wings) go through a drastic change in size and shape, becoming much stronger and more intimidating. I was thinking more along the lines of that.

Hmm, I have never played HTTYD. When you are the dragon becoming bigger is not necessarily a good thing. Making it bigger is about the easiest thing to code though, but like I said, our dragons are not all the same size. I am assuming you want the dragon to get bigger as a visual indication, but maybe you just like the dragons in HTTYD? I have been asked before about that mod, but our mod has no plans to be anything like it.

I more meant like the dragons look slightly different as they get stronger, like this how these dragons change with age.

[p]Ah, I thought you meant the mod. I guess that is the problem with naming a mod after a movie. Makes it hard to know which people are talking about :-)[/p]

So I've been testing the mod and the only thing that I can say is that it can be a bit too easy. All you have to do is find a dragon egg (if you keep the developer console thingy open it tells you exactly where to find the eggs) and a village. I literally mined enough wood to get a wood pick, found a village and an egg and it was smooth sailing from there on out. The chests that spawn have loot that is way too good (I got full diamond armor and a diamond sword within the first village) So I would recommend lowering the spawn rate of diamond equipment and replace it with something like leather (just something not too strong) because after I got the first egg, I found a village got some coins made the cache and just wandered from village to village while having the developer console up looking for more eggs. So if I were to do something I would take out the part where it says building are spawning and where eggs are spawning as well otherwise it's really easy to get a bit overpowered. I realize not every player will do this but it's just what I did after I noticed that the developers console did that... well I might have looked at your source code and noticed that... Another thing I would do is make some of the abilities more powerful. The fireball is, I mean no insult here, abysmal. I find it hard to aim and it takes way too long to recharge. I found myself using the invisibility and the regeneration abilities while using my diamond sword (that I found in a chest) to do most of the fighting. I can see this being a good mod for multiplayer but as I stated before all the abilities for fighting (fireball, poison, boiling water) could use some work. So overall, it is a great mod and I found it very exciting and fun but it could still use some fine tuning. I don't want you to take this review the wrong way as in I'm looking for imperfections it's more that I noticed it was still work in progress so I figured I'd give it a go and tell you what I thought.

I am away from my computer at the moment on my tablet so can't easily respond. I am curious how you are seeing the log messages, as I didn't think those could be seen except in Eclipse.

If you go to Edit Profile in the minecraft launcher and find the option that says Launcher Visibility just set it to Keep the launcher open. I do this myself so I don't have to relaunch multiple times when testing my mod or if I want to play a different version. After you do that you just launch the game and go to Game Output (<player name>) it will display all the same things as eclipse. It's pretty much the same thing just one is eclipse and the other is the minecraft launcher.

I leave the logging in for debugging, but with a small change to the code I think I can make it only appear in Eclipse. Thanks for pointing this out.

Also one other thing. I think something you could do is add some stuff in the nether. Maybe a new dragon or maybe moving a dragon egg cough cough fire dragon egg cough cough to the nether or maybe a nether city or something that is really hard to take over (give everything bows that are like the dragon sword and dragon swords) and no chests. Everything is from killing the mobs otherwise you just go in and then come back out unscathed and it isn't really a challenge (this is kind of been my issue so far). But I think if you could manage to implement the nether somehow it would greatly improve the mod. It gives the players something more to go for after they get bored with roaming from village to village collecting gold and killing every now and then for food.

You can edit your post, no need for 3 posts, I think the Death/Skeletal Dragon would fit more to be in the nether, also note that we don't have too much challenges because the releases will be themed, right now we only had the better villages and more dragons release, this release was focusing solely on improving the gameplay for the player, but those are pretty good suggestions

We do have another video review coming out soon.
Also we have planned a release to improve the Nether, although it is not the next one.
We want to add small random things to encounter in the villages, so if you think of stuff, let us know :-)
He isn't supposed to have arms,he is like a wyvern, his wings are his arms
But muh six appendages... aww. That's a shame; you could have used the wyvern concept as mob versions of the dragon types, simultaneously explaining why there are so many more of the mob type of dragon and why they're so much weaker than players are, if you had wanted to have dragons of every type going around. I mean, you still could, but everybody'd be looking at mister No-Arms in the corner of the dragon bar and wondering if he was actually a player or just a mob. It's just that his incompleteness bugs me. Sorry. Thank you for the mod, though, it's quite fun as far as "You are X" mods go.

Don't worry about that, in the future there will be a release which improves the dragons render, like having crouched wing when in the ground, etc.
Also If im not wrong there won't be mobs for the types of dragon the player can become

Ok, I found that image (sorta, this is a blacksmith embedded in a desert temple):

Maybe the blacksmith worships the almighty sand deity?

Um, the night dragon doesn't have arms. Is that a thing, or a bug? Because it makes it look kind of like a Tyrannosaurus Rex...
