It is just one out of many fossils. Just because the bone started to hela doesn't mean that all t-rexes were predators, and the prey also could have been an older hadrosaur and/or an ill one. But, of course, theories allways need to be considered

Okay so. I beline now that the Tyrannosaurus was an active predator, BUT, this does not mean it couldn't eat carcass as an easier way to get food or even steal another preadator's prey as it was the bigger predator there. Most of the modern predators take advantage by doing this because they can save energy by scavenging. T-rex was a massive and perhaps not that fast predator, so scavenging would be a good way to get the energy that it needed to support its enormous proportions. This does not mean that it didn't hunted, just means that it wouldn't do it as frequently as other predators (even other tyranosaurids).

No predator is really above scavenging, so you could be right about this statement.
That isnt true if it was just a fat lazy scavenger tthen why would it have such a heavy build and fossil evidence of it getting into fights with triceratops (classicly) and other dionssaurs. a scavenger can not possibly get enough energy to sustain such a masssive body weight a day. besides it was just an example
I also have studied prehistory for the entirety of my life. At the current moment i am studying Mesolithic times, so i have some expanded knowledge. However i have mostly studied the Mesozoic. i also know parts of the Silurian, Devonian, Cambrian and well i guess we're not going as far back as Archean there is not a lot to talk about there. I would love to talk to other people and share / exchange knowledge.

How many Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian, and Devonian animals do you know?
My good sir, first off I am sorry to hear about that, and I sympathize with you in terms of motivation, I struggle with it from time to time, and if you wish to have an intelligent conversation in regards to prehistory, by all means Id be willing, and Id imagine others here would as well. As while the community may young, which is a good thing to ensure the game keeps on going, there are plenty here who are a lot older. One last thing, if you feel unmotivated due to such setbacks, which is entirely understandable, know that in my opinion this mod has so far achieved what no current prehistory mods have achieved, that being making a dimension about dinosaurs and prehistory that is truly in-depth, unique, and just plain awesome. As bold a statement as this may be, and no offense to other prehistory mods, Id say this mod would have a far better prehistory dimension than anything fossils and arch., and jurassicraft could create. I hope this might have helped you in some manner, and no, I'm not saying this just to see the mod keep going, to me that's somewhat selfish, I just cant stomach the idea of someone going through setbacks like this and not have someone to help them back up. On a finale note I wish to quote Charles Jones, " Things don't go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you intended to be."
-Cheers, and best of luck, Ops
Thanks you man! It's nice to read that kind of message.

You keep saying this mod is updated to x version but, as far as I am concerned if the mod isn't released an an alpha or beta state or better it isn't a mod.
off the top of your head? im not so sure, but out of those i did know wiwaxia (that bacteria lookin ass) eurypterus (the scorpion) icthyostega (the amphibian) Xenacanthus (the fish) hynerpeton (the big ass fish) and hyneria (also a fish) i however failed to list them. May i ask why did you use pterygoatus's full scientific name, seems like a copy of a website thing to me. If it isnt well congrats lets do it again, except in my speciality the cenozoic. however this is probably all a waiste because of this website http://www.prehistoric-wildlife.com/ so we got no idea if the other guys cheating, but for funzies xD

Oh, I didn't use Pterygotus' full name!
There was just a bug that put Birkenia and Thelodus on the same line as Pterygotus.
It is easier to criticize than to make mods. We work without being paid and we do this just by passion.
This is the first time I see you here, so rather than being negative, be encouraging.

Here is our second music for the dimension, called "Lost Land" and created by Oursvince. You can listen here.
Also, our Discord server changed, you can join here.

Maybe, lesser animals?
There was an edgy statement on "skeletons and zombies being undead humans" but I erased it lol
