when my all mods ( 78 mods ) uptaded to 1.7.10, i will change the version to 1.7.10. cause i build my best minecraft ^^ i cant it on 1.7.10. but i need this mod i like it

Ah, this is a time where I wished MCNostalgia was still around and updated for the newer versions of Minecraft, where if you had a 1.7.10 mod and you want it to work for 1.7.2, use MCNostaliga. (Unfortunately, the newest version only works for 1.4.6 and under, I think, and the mod hasn't been updated for quite a while (Possibly since both users who 'made' the mod have gone 'missing')..)

I feel like this is one of the better prehistoric-based mods out there, as stated by a few others. I'd love to see this mod in its complete glory soon, and while I know you are working on it, I just want to leave a few questions/comments.
1. The models so far are great. I wonder if you or the team are thinking about making a small group of the creatures tameable and/or mountable? It would be overpowering to be able to ride a big dinosaur like Allosaurus into battle, but possibly a flying dinosaur (Quetzalcoatlus or smaller), a few raptors, or an Ankylosaurus could be a mount?
2. Will you be adding ambient sounds/music to this dimension?
3. Will the environment itself be a danger to the players (e.g. Challenging combat and/or conditions)?
1. The player can breed animals with eggs collected from nests or plants.
Some dinosaurs can be mounted such as Carnotaurus or Therizinosaurus.
I can not say more on this subject for the moment, because we have not worked it, but surely soon.
2. We will add new music for the new dimension Genesis, its certain.
In the future, I would like to add sound atmospheres according to biomes / sub-biomes, but it takes a lot of work, so it is not a priority for the moment.
3. The environment of Genesis will be very difficult. The player can not bring items/block of the Overworld in the Genesis dimension. So the new dimension is like a new adventure. You can not make swords or armor from minerals.
The player uses hide clothing that will improve with a tanning rack.
He can use a bow and arrows, but it requires a lot of time to make it.
Each tree gives different properties to the bow. There will be many opportunities for arrows, depending on the type of feather, the type of head etc..
The animals in Genesis will generally be stronger than those of the Overworld.
Finally, the player can grow certain plants/mushrooms prehistoric to satisfy smaller hunger, but the player will necessarily need to hunt to stay alive longer.
I like it. I actually LOVE it. The heading is attractive, too. Could you please put a list of the mobs up there ? Thanks. This will work out pretty well with my private modpack (which I do not need permission for because, you know, I just play it with myself privately)
I have a question, a few actually. What does the Portal look like? Will there be huge plants like
? When do you think the full release of the mod is? Will it work with other mods like Minecraft Comes Alive? When its out, can it be in my modpack if it will work?

There will be lots of plants and trees. All plants have existed at that time. There is not imaginary or modern plants.
The first public version will be a pre-alpha version, but a lot of things I want to add, will not be in it.
I think it will be compatible with most mods. Know that all the contents of Genesis is found only in the new dimension (apart portals). We do not touch the vanilla blocks.

Normally a experimental Forge version 1.8 should be out soon. We will then wait for a more stable version to update the mod.
But we have so much to add yet (even for an alpha version). We are behind primarily because of biomes and the new dimension, and I am the first saddened..
You know, IMO I think that you should have multiple dimensions in this mod; I mean, a Cambrian ecosystem is FAR different from a Cretaceous ecosystem. So perhaps you had a dimension for each era (for some possibly even two dimensions with one representing the earlier period & the other the later period) & you could access them all via a time machine.
Also, once this mod is stable, could you make a 1.7.2 version of it? I'm making a modpack based on building a zoo & I would absolutely LOVE this mod for more prehistoric mobs.

When Forge v1.8 will release, we will work on this version. We are not going to continue to code on v1.7

Do not worry. Biomes have a certain logic. Eg, the swamp rainforest is composed mainly of flora and fauna of the Carboniferous.
I have an Idea! you should also make a way to craft music disks using an empty Music disk that you can add and when an empty music disk is placed in a note block by the portal to go to the dimension Waterflames Time machine plays.
I prefer to use "natural" elements and not modern. But its a good idea

Very truly, I don't know. It depends on some people, mainly coder of the biomes. We need to add some important things still.

There will be not prehistoric animals. Wildlife will be limited to the Precambrian up to Cretaceous.
In the future, I would add tribes, but I'm not sure yet. So maybe these tribes will look like Neanderthals.
