In around what version do you think starting to create maps in would be a good idea?
In alpha you can start prototyping your map ideas. In beta you can start actually building your maps. If you feel like it you can start right now, but there might be occasional problems with updating to a newer version.
VeryImportantNote: I don't have the flu, but I am sick as hell. Headache, Stomachache, Neckache, *cough*ache and all my joints hurt!
I am trying my best to get healthy again.
(Interesting Fact: This is the first time in over one year that I am actually sick)
Also, I am having trouble implementing the eventing system. Integrating it with Minecrafts own systems is no fun.
Anyway, have a nice day/night!

Im a modder/programmer! I am on Twitter and YouTube, and some more I won't tell you about!
I've actually been playing a couple of RPG maker games and was about to look into doing something like that during the summer, but I would much rather make a well thought out TC map
Can I expect somewhat of a release this summer or is it still too far away from saying?
"Still too far away from saying". Probably a alpha-version for the summer holidays.

I recently came back to the forums, was very excited of what I saw. Its very nice to know that your working on it again. I do wish some items like maybe a Mega Blaster or possibly a new food (like soda?). To admit, this is what I think of when someone is working for a long time.
One last suggestion is that it would be nice to access previous versions if wanted, mainly for map compatibility.

Mega Blaster: No, too sepcific.
Soda: No, this is a map maker utility mod, not a survival gameplay expanding mod.
Multiple Versions: Every version will probably end up in a long list in the main post.

Im a modder/programmer! I am on Twitter and YouTube, and some more I won't tell you about!
Long time no see/talk! Fun/sad fact: It's been 18 months since I last posted
Anyway, It's good to see you are able to begin development again!
I hope you have been able to recover your health within the past 9 days!
Question: Do you plan on eventually allowing for us to script in our own items - like we could in AdventureCraft?
Also, I am busy with some other things right now, but whenever I can get around to it I will begin updating the wikia page again!
Wishing you good health and good coding!
Answer: There are some small technical problems with implementing the scriptable-item. The problem is that I can NOT dynamically attach textures to items anymore. Blame mojang/forge for removing the custom item rendering... (If I can't find a way around this, you wont get custom items)
If you actually look at the source code, he seems to be planning too. I can't wait!
Please don't take anything in the sourcecode as an indication of what is to be implemented. Since I generally jump around the code making lots of changes (blame minecraft modding + debugging), anything could change at any time. I try my best not to break things too hard.
I think I can push 0.3.0 today... maybe.
Make that tomorrow, I've still got to clean up some things (commenting code, refactoring, and disabling defect/incomplete features).
Adventurecraft sure does bring back some memories... If Longor1996 could pull off the same thing but in a more contemporary Minecraft version, I would be quite happy. (Don't give up, Longor1996!)
How did you get it working? When I try to launch it it says: "Error: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again ". and then it even comes up with another error Saying: "A Java exception has occurred", but I think that's just be because of the first error. I have Java 8 update 45 64-bit on Windows 7. Please help, I really want to play the Zelda map again after all these years

It's in a very unstable alpha phase. Also, I'm sorry to say, but I think that the old adventurecraft maps won't be compatible from what I've heard. Longor was trying to do that, but it just wouldn't work quite right, especially with certain missing adcenturecraft blocks. If you want to play that Zelda map again, I suggest that you try to find out how to make your adventurecraft client work again, which I don't even know how to do.

I did a short tutorial on installation w/ Magic Launcher on page 40somthingoranother. My old account was CreativeNinja456, and if u cant find
it, look for UltimateRival. I dunno if my old account got hacked or what, but go see. Let me remind you that I wrote that long ago, so I cant
remember where it is, and if it still works. Good luck, Philip.
If you are talking to me about adventurecraft, then it's hard to tell, because of the fact I don't know the tutorial vid which helped me most
but ok, somebody made a tutorial with the ac installer, with that you can install the game, he also gave a java fix which didn't work with me, but adventurecraft already worked with my java so I could skip that part, after using the ac installer of the tutorial vid and skipping that part I could play it

Well ya mind telling me where this ac tutorial is? I wanna play ac but all the tutorials are make no sense. Reply Plz.

Sorry for not working on TC.
I see you are working on a new Zelda map, how's the progress?
I made some progress while being sick!
Needs some more colors... and blackjack... and hookers.
Have a nice day/night!

sweet!
Check out my mod, TaleCraft!
So... When is the full update to TaleCraft? It's easter, so make it an easter egg present for us please.
Psst guys, I got adventurecraft to work, playing the Zelda map again, after years of waiting :')

Oi mates, Me again. New account. But I digress.
I am sure I'm gonna look like a idiot jerk not knowing this and continuing to nag thou about it, but
When would the 1.8 release be released? 1.8 has been out for quite a while.

This isn't really the correct topic to ask for help to fix your AC.
However, download AC, and replace this .minecraft folder with the current one in AC, it should work, enjoy.

ah, after some browsing I finally found it:
the only thing I didn't do in this video was replacing a java file, because that already worked with me, but maybe you should do it though
