Funny thing is, it's the rest of the mod that is easy to update to 1.7.10, it's the items that would be the ridiculous amount of work.

Mainly so I can play it along side all the new mods that are coming out that aren't being backported: Actually Additions, Roots, Advanced Rocketry, etc. I've been obsessing over WW2 lately and was even thinking about making a WW2 themed mod pack when Flan's Mod updated.

Well, I am working on an official server that will have pvp gamemodes such as Assault and Engagement with my mod, maybe that would interest you? That is where the mod will be able to shine without any other mods, in my opinion =P

Sounds good! But if I could ask one thing if it's not to much to ask: could you make it so the items have crafting table recipes? What you have now works but it's impossible to automate.

I've been quiet for a while, I bought myself Black Mesa for Christmas so I've been occupied with that but I just downloaded the most recent update for CTB and I found some problems
The biggest issue is that on survival/creative games will randomly start, even if none have been set, which has raised hell on my server. More small issues have been found like the smoke from a gun barrel will turn parts of the gun it passes transparent. Also, with revolvers when loaded with a speed loader/moon clip instead of the individual casings flying out a speed loader does. With the issues out of the way I had a few ideas. A Sterling SMG would be a nice touch, they were used in pretty much the same numbers as the Sten bet were overshadowed by there smaller counterpart. Speaking of the Sten, a wooden stock and pistol grip attachment would be neat, officers carried Stens with the stock and grip mainly in Italy but saw some use in France and Germany. An MP34 SMG is a nice weapon that would fit perfectly in the mod. The Americans would have 3 SMGs and so would the Germans. It was mainly used in the start-mid war, they were going to be replaced by the MP41 but they still stayed in circulation. Another thing Christmas would be a great time to add Finnish troops to ctb. Since A. The war between Finland/USSR/Germany was called the winter(s) war and B. Finland is cold. Just a thought. One last thing, you said Japanese troops would be added this month, is another update going to come out or are they delayed?

Wait, games randomly start? I have never experienced this, I will need a bit more details. As for the moon clip, that's how moon clips work. They are a bit different than speed loaders, where they stay in with the bullets.
