Nope. Not a fan of that. It's way too intrusive of a feature IMO

Is it possible to optionally disable Filtered Water Bottle via the config file? To make it just Dirty Water Bottle --boiling--> Water Bottle. The "filtered" one seems unneeded in some contexts (depends on the modpack).

could you add a better beginning in survival world.. its where you dont use your hands to break the woods..as its the first step.. so you would try break leaves to get sticks.. and find either rocks or flints somewhere to make a hatchet or knife... hatchet can be used to chop down trees..
to harvest a crop, a tool will needed for that..
to cut and break down the animals for meats or leathers, knife will needed for that
thats all. and it could make survival more tougher like its "tough as nails"
edit: there is one more feature you could add to the mod.. at the beginning, you would have hard time trying to make a dirt water bottle because it can take times and you would have to find flints somewhere to make a flint axe.. you could use your hands to drink water.. from a river, but not ocean.. we know that ocean has salt in it. right? to buy more time, where we can get the materials to make a bottle so we can get a dirt water bottle.
The temperature part of the mod needs significant adjustments. The way it works now, it seems like you're an ectotherm. Body temperature just swings back and forth, rather than being maintained through one of the best cooling systems in extant mammals. Players really need to more resist temperature swings natively.
Things that should definitely help maintain temperature, but don't
-swimming in lava
-standing in a field of flaming netherrack(or other numerous flame sources)
-being in a fully-enclosed space
-being deep underground
-drinking various liquids (you've already got juices and water for it)
-eating food/being fully fed
-physical activity/general hunger loss
Being overheated isn't so much of an irrational annoyance, and you can deal with it relatively easily. But cold is just so boring and unfun to manage. No thermal effect of eating, running around massacring a forest doesn't work some heat up, a bank of furnaces running through stacks of ores may as well be microwaves. Just sit by a campfire in leather or wool armor and hope the biome doesn't have a temperature so low that you die from hypothermia anyway.
I am fully aware that this could make heat the annoying one. If that's unavoidable(and I don't think it is), that's fine. Nobody ever had to stop the drills and bring the miners up because they were too cold, so err on the side of realism.
What is the spawn rate for the lifeforce crystals in nether chests? I've gone through 2 fortresses and opened dozens of chests, but I've yet to find one.
On the plus side, I have ungodly amounts of saddles and horse armor.

can you add a setting in the config where i can increase the size of area..
when its winter season, i noticed the area is quite limited.. and i did some travelling to some area that is not in winter season..

Almost certainly not. The crash mentions waila and wawla and another which i'm guessing is souls. Ask those people.
Yeah, that doesn't seem related to Tough As Nails at all. Have you tested it *without* Tough As Nails?
If a horse has enough health it'll get blocked out by the thirst bar.
Is it possible to optionally disable Filtered Water Bottle via the config file? To make it just Dirty Water Bottle --boiling--> Water Bottle. The "filtered" one seems unneeded in some contexts (depends on the modpack).

i would like to suggest one useful idea...
could you add a better beginning in survival world.. its where you dont use your hands to break the woods..as its the first step.. so you would try break leaves to get sticks.. and find either rocks or flints somewhere to make a hatchet or knife... hatchet can be used to chop down trees..
to harvest a crop, a tool will needed for that..
to cut and break down the animals for meats or leathers, knife will needed for that
thats all. and it could make survival more tougher like its "tough as nails"
edit: there is one more feature you could add to the mod.. at the beginning, you would have hard time trying to make a dirt water bottle because it can take times and you would have to find flints somewhere to make a flint axe.. you could use your hands to drink water.. from a river, but not ocean.. we know that ocean has salt in it. right? to buy more time, where we can get the materials to make a bottle so we can get a dirt water bottle.
I had the same issue and the only mod overlap was optifine and when I removed it the mod went back to clicking off the seasons.

The temperature part of the mod needs significant adjustments. The way it works now, it seems like you're an ectotherm. Body temperature just swings back and forth, rather than being maintained through one of the best cooling systems in extant mammals. Players really need to more resist temperature swings natively.
Things that should definitely help maintain temperature, but don't
-swimming in lava
-standing in a field of flaming netherrack(or other numerous flame sources)
-being in a fully-enclosed space
-being deep underground
-drinking various liquids (you've already got juices and water for it)
-eating food/being fully fed
-physical activity/general hunger loss
Being overheated isn't so much of an irrational annoyance, and you can deal with it relatively easily. But cold is just so boring and unfun to manage. No thermal effect of eating, running around massacring a forest doesn't work some heat up, a bank of furnaces running through stacks of ores may as well be microwaves. Just sit by a campfire in leather or wool armor and hope the biome doesn't have a temperature so low that you die from hypothermia anyway.
I am fully aware that this could make heat the annoying one. If that's unavoidable(and I don't think it is), that's fine. Nobody ever had to stop the drills and bring the miners up because they were too cold, so err on the side of realism.

What is the spawn rate for the lifeforce crystals in nether chests? I've gone through 2 fortresses and opened dozens of chests, but I've yet to find one.
On the plus side, I have ungodly amounts of saddles and horse armor.
