Hello, can you make a mod for 1.8 that tells you the IGN of the person who placed a block or wrote a sign? You can make it a command so for example, if I am looking at a block from a building and I type /whoplaced it would tell me who placed the block or if I am looking at a sign and typed /whoplaced it would tell me who wrote the sign. I have really been looking around for a mod like this and would be glad if you could make it, thanks for your time.

This would actually require a plugin to be used in anything other than singleplayer, rather than a mod, since blocks simply don't store that kind of data. This sort of functionality already exists in the plugin Logblock, though as far as I'm aware, you need to be running a Bukkit based server to use it, like Spigot. It uses right clicking with a wooden pickaxe rather than a command, but as far as I'm aware, it's the same concept and there's no mod version of Logblock

I have some mod requests (All for Liteloader 1.12)
-Minecon Capes Mod
By pressing a key (default "C") it would open a GUI where you could choose a Minecon cape (2011 to 2016). Anyone else with the mod would be able to see the cape.
-Better Sprinting Mod
In the controls option in the menu, there would be an extra button called Sprinting. You could choose to use toggle sprint and toggle sneak.
-Keystrokes Mod
There would be a WASD hud in the top-left corner. By moving, the key would glow white. By pressing a key (default "K") it would open a GUI where you could change the location or change the color hud.
The problem with the capes mod is that it would require a server plugin to handle the packets that say that you have the cape enabled. It's easy to make your own client see your own cape, but significantly harder to make the server see your cape and pass it on to other players. In addition, similar functionality is capable with Optifine already, and is a nice reward for a small donation to keep their program running.
Toggleable Sprint can already be implemented through Mumfrey's Macro Keybind Mod, if you set it up right, though he has yet to update it to 1.12 (which is unusual for him)
As for the Keystrokes mod, I get that it would be cool, but I just don't see the purpose of adding a hud that only shows when you press buttons and doesn't do anything else.

It's unusual if it was true; there's a prerelease.
Guess I missed the prerelease then, as I'm not seeing it on the main page, including a brief perusal of the past few pages of comments as well as the server that he keeps his versions (and used to keep his prereleases on, iirc). It could just be that I missed it somewhere or am simply forgetting some place where he could have posted it.

Just look through his recent posts by going to his profile, you should find it there.
You'll have to head over the the Macro / Keybind Mod thread for that -- I know it's possible, however I'm no expert and only use it for binding sets of server commands to unused keys.
EDIT: After toying with the idea of the Keyboard GUI for a few days, it sounds like it would actually be useful to several people, and (more importantly) definitely doable, so I'll see what I can do. It may only be the basic keys that are on normal keyboards (qwerty, numbers, shift, ctrl, space, etc) but I can see it working.

If any of these mods are made, I would LOVE it!!!

I understand for the first 2 mods, but many PVPers use the Keystrokes mod when they are doing Duels to show how they move around the arena.
How do you get toggle sprint in the Macro/Keybind mod?
