Thank you for replying
Hm, i have tested it for 1.9. I'm sorry but i don't have a graphic card to run minecraft. So, i'm not able to test it sadly and i see no way to fix it. Maybe try another optifine version?
Nope sorry, i focus on 1.9.4. Nobody needs 1.9. Every mod should update to 1.9.4 directly (and hopefully will).
The temperature was an overlay if you stand near lava (or in fire). It was unfinished and annoying therefore it's removed now.
Welp, I guess I'm stuck with 0.2.5. Hopefully all of my mods will update to 1.9.4. I even think some of them might be dead...
Also, what happened to the little water particles and the blood splatters from dealing damage? This mod looks like it got a complete overhaul. Even the sword damage is gone now.
One last thing: didn't the mod have the crack effect already?

Some effects are removed from the originally mod (like the water particles, crack effects and dealing damage).
but there are also new ones (sadly almost none of them in your version).

Well I might just have to deal with updating to 1.9.4. Sad to see those effects go.

okay i found the problem now, when you play in server that have plugin (kinda i think) those getting hit effect wont work, however playing as singleplayer the mod work perfectly fine, any solution?
Now for 1.10... Mojang just needs to chill with their updates and let modders do their thing.
Anyway, great mod, I love to use it in my survival worlds and for cinematics. Sad to see those(albeit quite buggy) old effects go, but it's more streamlined now and that's better.

Thank you and CreativeMD for this mod.
Now I have a suggestion: 2 versions of this mod, Normal and Classic. Normal would be the one now, and Classic would have the old effects in it. This would mean you would have the old effects back (screen crack, water/snow particles, etc)(I also don't like the stretchy particles)
And yes, I agree with the Mojang thing. 1.10 in a few months is outrageous.
Well I might just have to deal with updating to 1.9.4. Sad to see those effects go.

okay i found the problem now, when you play in server that have plugin (kinda i think) those getting hit effect wont work, however playing as singleplayer the mod work perfectly fine, any solution?
It seems to have an issue with vanilla server, it works on Forge severs. I will try to figure out if there is a way to fix it for 1.9.4
Now for 1.10... Mojang just needs to chill with their updates and let modders do their thing.
Anyway, great mod, I love to use it in my survival worlds and for cinematics. Sad to see those(albeit quite buggy) old effects go, but it's more streamlined now and that's better.
It's rather easy for me to update, but Forge will take it's time. Those effects are not gone forever. I removed them because they have ruined the experience. I plan rework some of the old effects and add them eventually.
Nope no need for that, those effects are removed because they weren't working or not implemented yet.
alright well rest in piece old effects.
but thank you for fixing the drowning effect.
Most of them were never included in any of those new version (since the reboot). So you kinda shouldn't miss anything and there are a lot of new effects and there will be more eventually.
Hey CreativeMD, I was looking in the old enhanced visuals page, and I saw some ideas the original creator had. So I came up with this question... What are you planning to do in the future? can you tell us some cool spoilers? And are you planning to do the features that sonicjumper was planning to do? And one final question, well its more a suggestion for a effect, for example when you are falling from too high, something like a blur effect in the corners of the screen to give it a sense of speed, srry for bothering you if there are too many questions, but hope you answer
PS: Srry for my poor english
To add to this, how about a blur effect depending on how much damage you take, and maybe a ear ringing effect for how loud it is near you? Maybe a blind effect for staring at the sun maybe. <That might be hard to do though.

We are currently planing to start planing . I will post some ideas once there is something.
I also thought about some kind of motion blur effect, but not sure if i'm gonna implement it. We shall see.
To add to this, how about a blur effect depending on how much damage you take, and maybe a ear ringing effect for how loud it is near you? Maybe a blind effect for staring at the sun maybe. <That might be hard to do though.
To be honest, i don't think it's a good idea to add the blur effect every time you get hurt. This can get rather annoying. Also same goes for the ringing effect. So i would rather leave it as it is for now.
About the blind effect: I think it's something which some of the shaders are already doing, so not really a thing for this mod.
Hm that's strange, which version of forge do you use?
Current version:
Minecraft 1.8.9
Optifine: 1.8.9 HD Ultimate H5
Forge: 1.8.9 -11.15.1.1875 (latest so far)

Idea: you should add a menu or config for user
Hm, i have tested it for 1.9. I'm sorry but i don't have a graphic card to run minecraft. So, i'm not able to test it sadly and i see no way to fix it. Maybe try another optifine version?
I plan to give the user some options through the config file.
well that's sad, i hope you will back on track soon, i love this mod and i wanna feel the pain when getting hit ;;-;;
Hm, hope so too, but don't except anything in the near future.
Finally 1.0.0 is out for 1.9.4
Will this be out for 1.9? Of will I have to update to 1.9.4? (What was the Tempature effect?)
No signature

okay i found the problem now, when you play in server that have plugin (kinda i think) those getting hit effect wont work, however playing as singleplayer the mod work perfectly fine, any solution?
Yay! An update for MC 1.9 is released!

Fixed in v1.0.1
It seems to have an issue with vanilla server, it works on Forge severs. I will try to figure out if there is a way to fix it for 1.9.4
It's rather easy for me to update, but Forge will take it's time. Those effects are not gone forever. I removed them because they have ruined the experience. I plan rework some of the old effects and add them eventually.
