I like the idea of the mod, but they arent dragons, they are Wyverns. Dragons have 4 legs + wings.
Also, a lot of missing textures of the items (not the mod, item when in iventory)
WITH A! .....i just explained the dragon/wyvern thing in page 183 :T the number of limbs is only a true difference in CERTAIn places of Europe but only a few.
Could you somehow incorporate wolf AI into tamed dragons? Like make them follow, defend you, and attack mobs?
I don't really think that we need the attack/defend AI. Like Gundun said: dragons might be a little too proud for that. But a following AI might be helpful, especially for people who like to travel. If they were to add it as a third option to the staff, those who wanted to have their dragons wander around could, but there would still be a way to have them follow you if needed.
Thats true, and i dont think the human specie would survive a FREAKING GIANT METEOR! also we are so fit to survive that theropods survived a interval of geological time from 252 to 66 million years ago, and look how long the humans has been on this planet and they are already causing another mass extinction XD YA I HAS BEEN 65 MILLION YEARS ON THIS PLANET AND I WILL BE HERE ANOTHER 65!!!!!
when i searched up theropods i got pictures of dinosaurs. as far as i know dinosaurs are extinct. i didn't know birds were theropods. and if that's the case... birds are pretty dominant on this planet. they may be more fit to survive than humans

Its not place, its mythology. Some mythology say they have 4 legs. some say 2, and the japan (and region) mythology is another thing completly.
Btw, i am not saying the mod is bad or anything, its just that its not for me. Dragons =/= Wyverns and i dont like wyverns
Because in my vision and knowledge, dragons are inteligent creatures, wyverns not. Also, 4 legs + wings is cooler than 2 only.

Dude i am talking about the dragon myths of Europe were dragon has been represented with both 4-6 limbs and even more than 6, also the dragon inteligence can vary from one myth to another specially on European myths, wich is a significant diffrence with wyverns that are always represented with the same intelligence, power and size.
Are we seriously on this dragon vs wyvern argument again...?
Listen to all that have given their piece and all who may come after. They are wyvern style dragons. They are shaped like wyverns, but they breath fire, they are dragons. If you do not agree with this, too bad, because at this point you are simply being a bother. The mod creators have decided they are dragons, and thus they are dragons.
To all the 'tradtionists', the creatures in this mod, breathe fire, wyverns use venom. No matter how much you don't like the style that was chosen...it is irrelevant, they are dragons.
To those who think I should calm down and stop ranting, I have words for you not suitable for public, because my patience for this nonsense is at an end. This is probably the fifth or even seventh time this argument has flared up. The fact that this argument is still going on shows people have not read to bottom OF. THE. FRONT. PAGE.

And they are mythological creatures so if the mod lore says is a dragon it is a dragon, also the wyverns are much smaller and less powerfull than dragons XD...hey just saying

Smaug, ROF dragons, Monstrous Nightmare,Skrill, and Deadly Nadder all had wyvern like bodies anyway so......

This is true. The best representation of Wyverns in comparison to Dragons in Minecraft is Ice and Fire Dragons vs the Mo'Creatures' wyverns. Both start out at basically the same size, but when the wyvern reaches adult size, it's really tall, with the dragon reaches its full size...that's brown trousers time.
On the topic of other mods, does anyone have any ideas for mods for a modpack, with Ice and Fire being the central mod? A dragon hunter themed modpack if anything.

Oh nice idea for one, well first you need something that balance the fantasy op creatures with well something more easy to fight and you can find in real life like boars or deers just for the ambient Mo'Creatures' is always a great choice next you will need a npc mod this because well...vainilla villager suck for this kind of rpg survivals, third a dungeon related mod why? well for the same reason i stated before but in this case dungeons, and the last thing you will need is a weapon why? well because you will fight against super op creatures, i know this mod have dragon themed items but here is the problem, you need to kill a dragon first XD.

I like these ideas, honestly I had the idea of the Fluxbeard/Steampunk mod, just for the pure satisfaction of using a blunderbuss on a dragon...granted I would probably get swatted but still...worth it. If you want villagers, I would advise either the Custom NPC mod if you don't mind all that hardwork in making them yourself and maybe the Minecraft Comes Alive mod. I think they added the baron system so you can turn guards int Knights, and even so you could still just pay them. There is also the Ancient Warfare Mod for a straight up army, even if that takes sometime going up the tech tree etc. Or you could have a mix.
As for weapons, I would rather not have something totally overpowered, so maybe Thaumcraft for magic items you can later create, or even just Tinkers Constructs and just make a powerful weapon yourself. This way the challenge isn't cheated since you would've put effort into making these weapons. On the subject of Thaumcraft it would be cool if someone made an add-on that allowed you to corrupt dragon eggs and even dragons with flux/taint and or imbue the dragon egg/unborn dragon with magic.
Mo'Creatures would just make the world feel more inhabited, and I would probably add biomes a plenty and the realistic world generation mod. I know these would make dragon nests more rare, but they would also make dragon hunting feel more of a grand journey

I have a zoo like modpack with ice and fire aswell as many of those mods but ice and fire sint centered and tolkinecraft 3 has ice and fire so try that out
This mod is awesome! The dragon models should be the default minecraft dragon model. Suggestions: Aether Dragon, Air Dragon, Earth Dragon, and Water Dragon. Griffins would also be cool :). Phoenixes would be amazing! πΉπ»πΈπ»ππ―
I really like this mod but I have a few suggestion for the creators of this mod , one is can you make the dragon taking off into the air a little realistic one example of animal is are pteranodon when they take off in the air you can look at some videos for help. Another is can wild dragons experience parental care when you get near their eggs like their become more dangerous with the behavior. Last thing is can the ice dragons live in underwater frozen lakes and burst out of the water like a skyrim dragon. Please let know what you think.

Please don't. This has been brought up more times than I care to remember. They even acknowledge this on the OP. Leave it alone.
Next, your issue is from a mod interaction issue. It has been mentioned a few times. I can't remember what mod it is though.
why does it matter if they look like wyverns?

So are the major bugs like accidentally riding an untamed dragon fixed?
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Well and the GOT dragons but they are still dragon, specially Smaug that thing is 97% pure dragon XD
