Ooooh, I've been looking for an add on that lets me embrace the more warpy sides of thaumcraft, this will go nicely with my descent into madness themed base. A few notes/suggestions:
Eldritch Focus appears to be able to pierce walls. It dissolves in and damages mobs within three blocks of said wall. Secondly, the render for the Taint-Blob focus (forgot name) render clips through walls, but damage does not.
Suggestions:
Amulet of the Withered Heart: Adds an effect so that every time you lose a certain amount of health, the attacking mob is given a wither status effect. Like a vis recharge amulet, it charges using requiring ignis and perdito via from an energized node. Made using infusion involving Runic Shielding Amulet, some other materials, and some Mortus, Tenebre, and Peridito Essentia.
Boots of the Warped Path:
An infusion of Boots of the Traveller and some Eldritch properties, allows limited teleportation, faster movement speed, and lessened fall damage, at the cost of warp effects. Would have a self repair rate similar to void metal, the higher the durability, the stronger the effects.

Both of these would be high level infusions.
Sounds cool. I actually had boots sort of like this planned. As for the wither heart thing I think it would be a bit too OP for the mod, and programming target entities is no easy task so.... But as for the eldritch focus thing, its supposed to damage mobs within 3 blocks or so from where it bursts. And for the tainted bubble thing, I'll try to fix it in the next version, but its not too big of an issue.
No there is no way to safely hold goo. I might make like a tainted sac that you can hold tainted materials in without them dissolving.
Putting the goo in any container stops them from dissolving. Its just in your inventory that makes that happen. I do agree though that something to keep them in would be nice.

In the name of peace, moderation, and decency- WIPE THEM ALL OUT!

Yeah, putting them in a container suppresses the dissolving effect. It just would be nice to have some sort of sac that is in-inventory to put them in. Aside from that if you're in a modpack you could use a Golden Bag of Holding from Extra Utilities, or a backpack from one of the various mods that add them.
Eeeee! Augh I haven't even played the mod and I love it!
Edit: HOLY CRAP THIS MOD IS AWESOME.
ok, caps lock off. XD But seriously, well done, yorkeMC.
Edit 2: Ok, I tried to infuse the Warped Goggles into the Void Fortress Armor (hooray, your brought it back) and it did not work. I'd like to see it work sometime in the future, if possible.
Edit 3: The wand Foci added by this mod have no Focal Manipulator upgrades, not even Frugal. Also, an idea for something totally unrelated: Shadowvines. Vines tossed into a cauldron with 2 Alienis, 2 Tenebrae, 3 Herba, and 2 Telum makes a Shadowvine. As you might be able to predict from the aspects required, it's a vine block that's colored like shadowmetal and hurts people like cactus. It can spread in all four directions, and around walls. Build an outline with Stone Bricks and it will 'turn off' the spreading behavior of the shadowvine when it touches the bricks.
I have a request if it's at all possible. At the moment, taint is a joke. It doesn't spread much at all. I gave a chunks worth of taint 10 hours to spread and it barely doubled in size. What I want is an optional taint boost. Just a config option that makes taint go faster than the default max. If you can do that you will be my hero. I mean is threatening taint too much to ask?
i'm pretty sure there is a config option for the rate of taint spread in the vanilla thaumcraft config.

Haha thanks so much. The void fortress armor can only be upgraded with ordinary goggles of revealing (the warped ones must be too powerful for it, wait, no its just me not wanting to program it ) but on the other hand the trexturemap would not have room for another faceplate (warped goggles) because it extends fortressarmor which only supports 3 upgrades so yeaaaaah..... As for the focal manipulator stuff, I just havent added it yet. I was just working on other things and forgot about it. Ill try and do it for the next update... And shadow vines, another thaumcraft addon has rose vines that essentially do exactly the same thing, so i'd rather not add my own shadow-version. But thanks for the awesome feedback. It makes my day!

What are these rose vines that you are talking about? The umbral roses from FM? If not, what mod are they from and what are they.
Ok, I thought of an alternate effect. You can climb them, and they don't inflict physical damage, but they cause a random warp effect immediately after touching them and then every 30 seconds after that. Not fun.
I love more Thaumcraft addons, but I'll have to add my concern about the new core and caps - they seem like a flat upgrade over what's in vanilla Thaumcraft, and I think that adding new "tiers" of wands should be strictly within vanilla Thaumcraft territory. Addons should, in my opinion, not build upwards, but should add instead try to add more options and more interesting mechanics. New tiers should be Azanor's perogative to add.

Some people might think it's pointless since other mods add portable storage, but then there are people like me who only have forestry backpacks that wouldn't hold tainted goo anyway (Unless the Magic Bees Thaumaturge's Backpack holds stuff like that). And if it's not too hard to code, you could set yours apart by automatically recognizing these things and storing them right away?

I hope that made sense.
It's not really a flat upgrade. It adds the mechanic of using the players warp to recharge the wand, at a rate that increases linearly. It's not exactly like anything from vanilla thaumcraft. As for the caps, they are meant to go with the core, and (in the future) will increase the discount if they're with the warpwood core, or the bus discount will increase again, based on warp.

I find the staff somewhat OP if one has researched all of the Warp-giving research in many TC addons, or has simply crafted an army of flesh golems. The amount of warp one can amass means you basically have unlimited Vis at your disposal. Now I understand why all the recipes need a nether star...

It caps off at a certain point. After you get 80 vis, it stays at the same rate.

That would be cool. Maybe put it in a crucible with some Vitium or something. Is there already a way to safely hold Tainted Goo?

I hear you. But its already added and it would be a chore to disable it.

Rose vines from Witching Gadgets.
