There are other methods of respawning the dragon. Also not everyone can stand HEE (Raises hand. Personally I think it wrecks the End in multiple ways. Good mod though, seriously. I'm just not the target audience :-p).
So that does kinda make sense to fit into Et Futurum and Gany's End. Or not. I'm betting someone made (or is making) the equivalent of Back In Slime except with the 1.9 Ender Dragon stuff. Gany is more about the items/blocks than the mechanics for backporting.

Well they still haven't defined what the respawn mechanics are going to be, when they do it, then I'll see how complicated it would be to backport it :3
wait.. I was going to say I have a mod that adds some of this stuff already - what's the name of that mod again? ..oh, that's right. Gany's Surface xD
So what do you suggest? Do I ditch Gany's Surface for this?
[edit] - no, I can't. I need your pooping animals. Hmm.. I can always disable blocks and items (your configs are great for that, thanks) so perhaps I could have both?
Woo, 1.9 stuff! The chorus plants are great fun; took me a while to work out how they grew (naturally assumed I had to plant the fruit but ended up just eating them), but the actual way to grow them is a pretty fun game.
Just a few niggles and errors to report:
-The grass path blocks make normal stone noises instead of grass noises;
-It would be nice if the chorus plants' bounding box was closer to its actual size, though I'm aware that like fences they change their shape and connect to adjacent ones, so I can understand of course if it's more complex;
-The new End blocks (Purpur, End stone bricks, and the light rods) aren't immune to the Ender dragon (though I don't know what that requires), though the chorus plants are at least;
-And lastly I've been getting these errors in the log, the first might not be your problem, and the second one was spammed quite a lot:

Edit: final one - breaking a dead bush with shears still drops sticks, so you can just keep farming sticks from a single dead bush

If Gany's Surface has features you'd like to use, I'd recommend using its config file to turn off everything that Et Futurum already has, and then keep both.

luckily you don't need to redo the dragon fight, because of the hardcore ender expansion mod

I'd be eager to see the Ender city thing at least, like the ocean monuments
Though it seems that so much is going on in the End that it might require a separate mod. But we'll see
Well they still haven't defined what the respawn mechanics are going to be, when they do it, then I'll see how complicated it would be to backport it :3
I'm not sure how hard it would be to backport the End Cities, it might be rather complicated...
But hey, the chorus fruits are coming along: https://twitter.com/ganymedes01/status/626848801073049603
This soundes AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to it, Gany.
could you possibly add the Depth Strider enchantment (makes you swim faster) from 1.8?
I'll try, but I don't think it's possible without base edits (which I won't do)
Version 1.2.0 with the 1.9 stuff has been released!
Don't forget to check out the changelog to see what's new!
I assume you're working towards adding the 1.9 stuff to Gany's End now?

No, backporting stuff will go only on Et Futurum from now on
Probably :3 But I'll wait until they actually have recipes to add them.
Thank you for your reports
I'm working on fixing all of them :3
I found a little bug: chorus flowers grow every time they get a block update. And if you put a block on top of the flower it will just eat it.
Also if you want dual wielding, you can just install this mod and disable all other features.
In vanilla they also grow everytime the block ticks.
As for it eating the block on top, that shouldn't be happening...
That's not what I meant, if you place a block next to a flower it instantly grows.
