Hey I just thought I'd check in to see if you've worked on a version for the later versions of Forge! I'm really looking forward to being able to use this on my server
I think that the second option is more likely, because my Singleplayer works fine, but when i put it in my server, which has the same version as my singleplayer, it crashes immediately
Yes, that's most likely the case; I'm not very familiar with the client server disconnect when it comes to 1.7 renderers and models. I've been unable to fix it thus far.

Sadly, I will not be porting any older versions, and once the bugs are sorted out for the 1.7.10 version, I will not be making any further updates. I just don't have the time to support full backwards compatibility. My source code is available on the project site, and I strongly encourage people try and port my code for their own needs if they are able to, since I cannot do it myself. I'll even post their versions on this topic if they are successful.
Dedicated server crashes are fixed. Not working on 1.7.10 version past this point unless there are game-breaking bugs. Going to update and bring cross-dimensional teleportation to the 1.8 version soon.
Can confirm, that version does work on 1.7.10 Cauldron Servers
Now, i understand that you want to end work on 1.7, although I would think there are far more mods and mod users still on 1.7 than beyond...
However, there is one bug that would be a nice end
the teleporter does not keep its inventory when moved, i.e by Movecraft or Archimedes ship, and if you could fix this, that would be awesome, as the Teleporter still works after being moved, just loses its unique key

my main reason for wanting to leave 1.7.10 is due to the fact that the forge api is greatly improved in 1.8+, and as it stands some bugs need different solutions for each of the versions, and i can't really commit my time to that.
that might be a difficult fix; i don't really know the mechanism by which movecraft or archimedes moves blocks... i will have to speak to the developers on how that works, unless there is a guide for mod support somewhere
Well, i am not sure about any offical support, but i do know that all vanilla containers and some modded ones work in saving things inside of them...Perhaps a look there would help?
Has anyone else been getting a crash on servers while using the 1.8 version of this mod? It works when I am playing the single player game but my server crashes when I try to load it. I was using Forge 11.14.4.1563 and the 1.4.5 version of this mod. The 1.4.2 version of the mod works on both server and single player in Forge 11.14.4.1563.

Also would it be better to submit bugs on GitHub?
If you can get your crash report, can you PM me a pastebin link to it?
Submitting bugs on github would be great. Just make sure to mention when it happened, what i should do to recreate the problem, and any supplementary information.
I'm aware of this issue. Spawned / teleported golems from his mod do not recieve the IExtendedEntityProperties associated with my teleporter. As a result, they don't have the onTeleporter or teleported variables that stop them from constantly activating the teleporter. I'll look into how they are initialized and see if it's fixable.
I've recently grabbed the latest release and installed it on my server and client. Upon making two of the transporters and using them for a couple transports, they start saying "Teleporter is blocked: skipping." In this case though, they are not blocked. In order to get them to function again, I have to break the transporter that believes it is blocked and re-place it. I can easily duplicate this by creating two new transporters, transporting a couple times between them and very quickly neither of them will work any longer.
Have you seen anything like this before? With them in this state, it's virtually unusable.

Hi Nextwave,
I have tested this and not encountered it on my machine for either version. I have also tested it on an external 1.7.10 server and not had any problems. Could you please provide more details? Which minecraft version is this on? Do you have other mods installed? Any other modifications/config file changes I need to know about? I can't guarantee this mod will work successfully with other mods.
Great mod, but I'm having trouble finding the config file to change the recipe. Where should I be looking besides the minecraft > config folder?
The config file is called teleporter.cfg not vanillateleporter.cfg.

This is also happening to me, using forge 1521 on both client and server, client works fine, server crashes.
Any word on making this work across dimensions?
You sir, have been downloaded.
A MILLION DIAMONDS FOR YOU!
Are the teleporters interdimensional?
No they are not...I'm hoping that this is changed.
Found out the Atomic Stryker's Battle Towers mod (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1275201-atomicstrykers-battle-towers) doesn't work well with this mod. The golem teleports all over the place and spazzes like crazy sometimes.
Has this bumped to 1.8.8 or 1.8.9?
