Ok, so I have a crash report for anyone who wants to help. I don't have any mods whatsoever installed, and I don't have any saves whatsoever. I've run out of ideas. ;-; Just wondering if Bob Mowzie or someone else who is knowledgeable in this kind of thing could help me solve this issue
Did some researching and it's recommended to delete your options.txt file, something to do with render distance from 1.8 being higher than older versions can handle. Hope that's what it is!

Gonna try that now, if it doesn't work I guess I'll reinstall and see what happens D:
The Barakoa hunters have been released! No drops and no village yet. These are going to take a while, so I thought I'd give you guys something new in the meantime.
Please report any bugs or crashes! Let me know what you think!
They're completely amazing. Death animations are solid as heck, the fight is super intinuitive. Most mods would just make me feel like I'm fighting a stronger zombie, but yours makes me feel like I'm fighting actual, skilled warriors. The way that party leader circled me... amazing.
Your mod is truly the best mob mod. I can't wait for the villages + king.

Tension throughout the whole fight, I actually started using minecraft blocking mechanics once I started to learn the leader's attack pattern as spamming click didn't work on him, overall nothing I've ever experienced in minecraft yet. Truly amazing, I wish more mods were of this caliber .
EDIT: Found my first bug, it was with the death animation, it simply didn't play and the model stood there red for a moment before dissipating.
Any idea if you did something unusual to cause this? I can't fix it if I can't reproduce it...
I had the same issue when I used the hand of death to kill a passive wroughtnaught or foliaath. Zeklo, were you using anything armor piercing?
Edit: I found the same bug, and what I think caused it. It definitely wasn't armor piercing or some other weird weapon code, unless the axe of a thousand metals has weird code I don't know about. From what I've seen, it looks like the entire party gets aggroed on you when the elite does, and if the elite is not aggressive, then they just wander up to you and don't hit you, or if they try, it doesn't affect you (i.e. the blowdart guy's arrow just bounced off me from one block away. They also don't do the death animation when this happens. Also, the parties currently spawns why too commonly. I counted 6 in the immediate area of my spawn, and that was after killing a couple to find put how they worked. Also, the poison effect from the blowdarts should probably be nerfed a bit. Other than that, they are excelllent additions to my world, in every conceivable way. Expect a very positive Areal Name entry when the drops are released.

Ah, thanks! I'll figure out a solution right away. Yeah, I see that they're way too common. You can adjust this in the config until I change it. Alright I'll make the poison a bit less strong.
Armor piercing works by bypassing damage processing, and I play the animation in the damage processing. So yeah, not much I can do here.
I had an interesting idea, although I think it would be impossible be code in Minecraft, so it's more just to help you get some ideas.
A group of villagers who live in a giant moving tree. The tree doesn't have legs, but it's roots can pull it along the ground. You never know whether the villagers will be your friend, or your foe.

Guess that'll be my only option if the options.txt file deletion doesn't work. :/ Hopefully that does the trick.

Wow. Just fought a Barakoa hunting party.

Awesome!
Are they speaking spanish? What are they saying?
Thank you! This means a lot to me!
Nope. It's complete nonsense.

I haven't been able to recreate it as of yet, but we'll see if I can.

Yep!
I like how you added a spawn egg for an entire hunting squad of Barakoa.

The Barakoa's name is clever
I have a new account called "Mushroomsock" now, so please do not send me PMs.
Ok glitch with the Ferrous Wroughtnaut:
When giving a zombie or any other mob the giant axe, it tends to glitch the following things
-in f5 mode, the players armor appears upside down
-mobs appear to follow you where ever you look(mean that they are like objects stuck to your face, essentially)
-the axe sometimes displays agiant circular shadow in the sky
-sometimes the mobs go invisible.
-doesn't render in nonplayer hands
All of these can occur at the same time, or seperatly as I have tested.
Screenshot of this, because this bug is amazing:
