Glad you are enjoying our first mod! Yes! They like Quantum Shards, and are quite powerful allies
Woo! Now just to figure out how to get those!
I don't know if it's a problem with our mod pack (we put our own together), or a problem with the mod.. but we've found areas where the invaders are, etc, and I didn't see any portal in the area, or any crystal mobs. Are they supposed to be there? We've also made a portal to go into their dimension, and didn't see any crystal mobs there either, just the blaze-type, enderman-type, wolves, and your cows.
In the Overworld, the Quantum Blazes and Enderman mobs are viral and will can cause a chain reaction that converts peaceful mobs into more Quantum Blazes and Enderman. This can happen much quicker than Quantum Stone converting the ground. This could be what you are seeing, the tip of the spear, so to speak.
In the Quantum Dimension, the Quantum Crystal Monster only lives in the Quantum Dungeon:
They're somewhat rare. Takes some exploring, though sometimes you get lucky. Would recommend the Shadow Suit (invisible to Quantum Mobs and teleportation) or the Quantum Suit for the quickness.
Quantum Crystal Monsters drop the Shards (lots of them). You can find out more on the wiki. The mobs also have a chance of droppping shards.
Here's the link to the Quantum Invasion piece on the wiki. Loads of fun stuff to do there.
So not every area will have a portal, then? My husband and I went through the entire infected area and didn't see one. We have jet packs in our pack, so it isn't horrible to get around in it. Those blazes are sure first though!
So wait, I still don't get it, are Quantum Enderman and Blazes a natural spawn in the Overworld, or will they only begin to appear once a Portal is constructed? Basically, will the invasion only begin once the player constructs the Portal to the Quantum Dimension?

Only when the Portal is constructed. We had it the other way for a bit, but we had some early feedback that it was too hard. We figured the lure of the great ores and materials in the Quantum Dimension would be enough to make people create a Portal. Yeah, it's pretty much just a Tech Mod until you build that Portal
Okay..... It must be bugged for us then. We have areas of the viral mobs and bock in our over world, before we built a portal, which was why we built one - we didn't find one.

Interesting! Those mobs are restricted to spawning in the Quantum Dimension. Can I ask what other mods you have installed? And did you change any of the custom setting (e.g. dimensions) in the config file? Thanks for your help!
Sure, I'll grab the list for you next I'm on my PC. My husband, who set up the pack, said he did have the change one dimension due to a conflict, so that could be it too! Thanks!
Real answer: Looks like an Entity conflict between the minis caused by using similar naming in some of the AI logic (we used the Entity string names in the AI.... probably not the best choice).
Better answer: They will be compatible soon
Ok, correcting this assumption (in case anyone is counting). It was not an Entity naming conflict. It had to do with ExtendedPlayer not having unique names for variables between our two mods. Will be fixed with the Inventory Pets update coming out soon.
Okay, so now that I've actually had a chance to play it, I'm sorry, but is there a way to turn off the Diamond Minecraft? I get you want to make a tribute to someone or something, but that thing just makes my game lag, ugh.

Hey Serrix. World gen chunk loading in 1.7 is kind of a problem. No current way to turn off the Diamond Minecart. Will add it to the next update, though (about a week?). It was supposed to be a small distraction. Thanks for the feedback.
You should add a stuffed animal mod. That would be sssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS

All right, then. Would an ore dictionary compatibility with Galacticraft and such be possible for the next update? I really don't like having multiples of the same materials in different stacks because they're two different mod ones and I cannot convert them to one kind usable for all via the Ore Dictionary Converter. I think I'll need to forward this to SpiritOres too.

Hey CreepTech fans. Some news from the CreepTech Labs...
Now that we are a bit better at this whole mod thing (cough, cough), we realized we need to do a complete overhaul of CreepTech. The way we set it up is just not scalable. So.... we will be discontinuing work on this mod. But do not despair!
We have already started CreepTech 2, and it is already awesome! We will post updates as we have them.
Wow, we just found this great and thorough review by GhastlyCraft of our first mod CreepTech. A lot of heart and soul (and learning went into this one), so glad there was some good joy in it:
Yes, the Pets will certainly help in the Quantum Dimension. Just cracked open the code today after a week long holiday. Thank you for your patience!

Recommend you drop a Block Converter and a Dust Blaze or two at some point when you are over there. It's fun to watch.
