I'm looking forward to give it a test but i have some issues... i guess i'm the first one having problem, so... sorry...
When i clic the Play button on the launcher, the game start for 5 seconds and then quit.
Here is the log file i have each time à try to launch the modpack : http://pastebin.com/YZ5zJ0GY
I checked the version of Forge, Minecraft, the sub-folder's name, java argument and everything is right.
I'm on Mac, should be a compatibility problem somewhere... But i can run some other modpacks without any problem.
Let me know if you're going to look into it, and i'll be glad to play it !
[Edit - Oh and i tried with technic and with the official minecraft launcher]
Just so that you know, I had some people having issues with this as well with my pack. After some research it seems to be a technic/mojang issue. If you go here, the explanation and fix is a couple posts down.

I'm not sure what the issue is with the Minecraft launcher but I did have a few people with Macs having issues. What version of Java do you have installed? I know that the latest version causes some issues.
As for the Technic Launcher, the issue with that is that the dropbox link was suspended because we got too much traffic. The mirror has been posted but I've also now changed it back to a link to my website which should be up for awhile until I have to shell out more money when it goes down.
EDIT: I guess i just use the Technic Launcher but still i wouldn't recommend Dropbox with so much people around here.
Dropbox was suggested on a Technic page on how to set up a modpack for the launcher so that's why I used it. There needs to be a direct link and I'm not sure what other uploaders provide that. I have it set to my website again but that will eventually drain the bandwidth and I will have to shell out more money again to keep it up.

I'm not sure if your team is still taking any requests for mods, but Ancient Warfare would fit in very nicely! Not only does it add structures in world gen like the ones you did, but it overall adds to the adventure side of minecraft. Plus it adds hostile humans which would be a good balance with the rest of the hostile non-human mobs. Plus it has the skills, and rpg feel that your amazing pack already has. Regardless of if it could be added, your pack is frickin' awesome. I love the rounded out feeling of it. Definitely going to start a server with it. If you cannot add any more mods, do we have permission to edit the pack and then redistribute it for a server as long as we still call it Modyssey?

Thanks. I've put a ton of time into it and it's still not completely finished. We haven't released version 1.0 yet. I have had some suggestions before that I will look at for future updates. As for redistributing the pack, it would be fine in private. Not sure how I feel about making it public especially since I had to ask permission myself from some of the mod makers so I would assume that only applies to me personally. :/

Hey ADG,
I'm having some difficulties getting the modpack to launch on my computer for some reason. When I use the Technic launcher (both with your link as well as the mirror that paulohare provided), the launcher vanishes for a brief moment, during which my Windows Task Manager displays the javaw.exe process as running, indicating that the game is launching...but it vanishes before the game window ever actually appears, and the launcher re-opens itself. Here are the logs from both using your own link as well as the mirrored link: http://pastebin.com/xNUmQp2L
I've tried installing it to the vanilla launcher as well, and the same result happens there--the process appears in my task manager for a brief moment before vanishing, the game window never launching, and the launcher reopening itself as if I'd closed the window. I have both a 128GB solid-state hard drive (C:\) and a 2TB 7200RPM HDD (F:\). I've attempted to install both the Technic launcher and the Minecraft launcher versions to both disks; no dice on either one. Virus scans from Malwarebytes show me to be clean, and I have no other antivirus software that would be shooting down the program.
The PC specs are more than high enough to run the modpack-- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti video card, 12GB RAM, AMD FX 6300 6-core processor at 3.5GHz, so it's not crashing on the hardware side of things. I've checked that my Java is up to date--64-bit version 7 update 67, no out-of-date versions installed. I'm officially at a total loss as to what could be causing the crashes, and am really hoping you might be able to help me out. I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out for me.

Odd. And other packs and just vanilla have been running fine?
I actually can't get any packs from Technic to launch now that I've tried it, but yes, Vanilla does indeed launch and play just fine.
Someone who had installed my pack also had a similar issue- check to make sure you don't have Java 8. Apparently the technic launcher is having issues with it right now. Have a look at this article for the version they recommend using (You have to completely uninstall 8 then make sure you get the version of 7 for your OS- ie. 64bit vs 32bit)

I'm currently having my system uninstall ALL versions of java and am going to manually perform a hard reinstall of it in a moment, to see if that helps.
Edit: It works! They were still listed as 64-bit versions; maybe there was a faulty install somewhere? Not sure why it's working now, but it is, so I'll take it.

It's up now. I messed up putting the URL in but it's good now. The website is back up too.

Hope this helps!
Yes, I checked it last night. I'm running Java 7 Update 67--there is no Java 8 detected on my system. Thanks for trying, anyways
Dang D: That's so odd! Is there a crash report made that we could look at?
Here's the pastebin of the logs: http://pastebin.com/xNUmQp2L
