Silly question, but how do I get glass in the nether? I'm doing a self-imposed challenge of living only in the nether and I cannot find any sand to make glass. I have made all of the rest of the smeltery parts, but I cannot make the tank. If I can find some diamonds or Emeralds (Nether Ores Mod), I might be able to make sand using Blood Magic or Magic Crops. I might be able to make a pulverizer, but I currently lack a metal or two I need for that. Natura's Soul Glass does not count for the recipe.
Is there another option I am missing? If I didn't have a heavily modded environment, is there supposed to be a way that I can't see?

do you have natura installed? i think ive heared mdiyo once say, that the goal of natura is to make it possible to live in the nether. probably wont work with tinkers construct alone.
it should add some worldgen to the nether including something called heat sand. ive not tried that, but its probably smeltable into glass.

I have natura in, but the heat sand smelts into heat glass which is not usable just like the soul glass. I've asked the question in Natura's thead since it explicitly states TC in its description.
hello , this mod is missing your various items tinker's contruct , for example the item Tincker Table. can take my doubts about it?
The Tinker Table is made by placing a crafting station next to a tool station or tool forge (as in actually placing the blocks). That way you can have 4x the slots and add a whole stack of modifiers easily. In other words, I can fill eight slots of the tinker table with quartz and stick my manyullyn rapier/longsword/broadsword in and get eight quartz on it at once, and do it eight times.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Can't able to play in 1.7.10 with Thermal, Tinker, Minefactory and Project Red together. So...1.6.4
I have all of those in my 1.7.10. It is possible. My Project Red is old though at 4.5.3.54 and I had to hunt down a specific version of one of the helper libraries. I don't remember if I had to edit one of the Jars to remove a dependency or not too.
I'm using the 1.7 version, and I tried both without iguana's tweaks and with it (Re-enabling them through its .cfg file, of course.).
And NOTHINGS HAPPENING STILL ;A;
Doesn't matter if I use stone or cobble stone either, I simply can't make any part... what's happening?!? Help!!! ;A;
EDIT:
Just to make it clear, I can actually craft the tool themselves if I get the stone parts made from cheating, what I CANNOT do is make the actual parts in the Part Builder. Despite the wiki saying I don't need the forge for them. ;~;

Is it a bug? Or am I doing anything wrong?!? ;~;
In the config:
B:"Enable mod stone tools"=true
Make sure you don't have it set as false.
Otherwise it's iguanas or you need to reintsall with the newest version.

There are quite a few mods that mess with cobble. Does this happen with only TiC and Mantle installed?
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.

Got this crash from trying to pull out molten lead from my smeltery via Extra Utilities transfer nodes (liquid).
