Advanced Thaumaturgy hasn't been updated to the latest version of thaumcraft, and when Minecraft attempts to load AT, it crashes because AT is attempting to call upon things that don't currently exist in the game or are invalidated in some way. The long and short of it is that AT wont load, and you're just going to have to remove it for now until Lycaon updates his mod.
Or play with some seriously out of date versions of thaumcraft et.al.

Hey guys... Although technically I *did* abandon AT, I assure you it was definitely not by choice. My utility bill literally doubled this winter and I had to choose between heat or internet. Obviously, internet lost out.
I don't have any open wifi networks near my house, and have no transportation ti leech off of some random fast food wifi. I got lucky today with a doctor's appointment and aside from several hundred emails, I am also saving a copy of bug reports from github, reading the last 15 pages of this forum post, and grabbing an updated copy of Forge and Thaumcraft so that I can work on AT at home.
I am over $500 behind on my utilities so I will not be back permanently for the foreseeable future, looks like it will be abour June before I can get internet back. I know I don't deserve it, but if you can help out, my Patreon is still functional.
Luckily, I do have a followup appoint scheduled in two weeks. I'm hoping to have a bugfix update to upload by then.

Also, I have plans to move away from using the infusion altar to apply upgrades. If anyone is good at textures, I could use a nice GUI texture for a block. I imagine a large wand spanning diagonally, with 1 spot to place the actual wand and 4 spots to insert crystals. Maybe add in some of the Thaumcraft runes... Maybe it can look similar to the research paper in the research table?

All the buildings are empty, nothing remains, all that can be seen is mass hordes in all directions of zombies, skeletons and other creatures never before seen. Inside isn't safe, Outside isn't safe, what will u do to survive this planet and escape? Can you survive the 1st day without death claiming you?
There is no natural light, when night time comes it's pitch black, no moon light and all that is heard is the scratching and moaning of whats around lurking to destroy you. Mining reveals unbeknownst horrors from the rocks just waiting to come out and devour your soul. Puddles of liquid blue or purple are not water, but also intent on harming you.
Hey guys. Thanks to a couple of generous patrons (as well as my rent complex obtaining a new subsidy thus dropping my rent by $160) I was able to get internet back this month. I'm currently going over all of the stuff Azanor has added to Thaumcraft (like the flux scrubber, gee, where did that idea come from ;p) and cleaning out some features of AT that duplicate them. I'm still not doing great with my dialysis, but I'm feeling very guilty about not being able to update AT for so long, so I feel compelled to get something stable out ASAP. No ETA on a release but be assured it's actively being worked on now, and I'll have something out shortly.

Since Thaumcraft has it's own method of getting rid of flux gas/goo any idea on what you're gonna do with the microlith?
Also, may I suggest a possible addition to the Node Modifier? Like a research after the node modifier that lets you sacrifice other jarred nodes to increase the vis storage of certain aspects in the target node? The process could be limited to aspects both the targeted jarred node and the sacrificed jarred node have. I admit, I'm mainly asking because the process of node bullying is painfully slow. Specially when you happen to exploit Worldedit to transport nodes as is so they don't get their nature downgraded.

•Fact: The more you comment about it, the more likely you are to be ignored.
•Fact: The more recent the last post about updating a mod is, the more annoying yours will be.

Thank goodness. I was wondering why this was only up to 1.7.2. Now I just have to wait. That's not too bad.

Can I make a suggestion?
An arcane crystal that makes the wand regenerate primal vis, like the primal staff does.

This is such a cool mod, I'm glad you're still working on it! I can't wait for the next update. I hope your health troubles resolve themselves soon.
