A minor update 1.2.3.2, with bug fixes and compatibility improvements, is up. Main changes are listed below:
Fixed trajectory curving horizontally. It was a floating-point number error that caused by the usage of the yaw angle in the spin algorithm.
Supported Item.onBlockStartBreak. You can try throwing an Axe of the Stream from TC4. If it sticks successfully into a log, it would break parts of the tree according to the special effect from TC4. (Please note that a general block breaking feature, which is planned in the future to be an optional feature, is not yet implemented.)
Supported the Vorpal enchantment in A.K.'s AdditionalEnchantments to drop heads. Just another enchantment mod. Note that other enchantments are already effectual by default.
I guess this version would stay being the latest stable version for the next couple weeks, if luckily I do not spot any bug or anything else to fix. And the major update progress would be resumed after that. Still open to suggestions and advices. Enjoy! I will be missing you.
Desc: If it hits a entity, the axe comes back to your hand near instantly, without you having to pick it back up.
I have always thought about how to help players to retrieve their axes better, but never thought of making it an enchantment. Nice idea. Perhaps I could make it an exclusive enchantment to the last enchantment idea.
An update 1.3.0.0 is out, together with a 1.6.4 backport. It contains some important bug fixes that I think it has been greatly affecting game play. And just to mention that those parameters that related to collision are also adjusted. Have a good game!
Can you make a api for modmakers? to help them make certain mobs able to throw axes?
Sure. For now, I guess it would be just OK to call the throwTomahawk method here in mob AIs for axe throwing. Note that the PickUpType should be ENCH if you don't want the players to be able to pick up those axes being thrown.
The old AI I used for the zombie pigman is not there in the newest version. Despite that I think it would always be the best if modders could implement their own AI for their mobs, an API with a default AI is still in my todo list. Hopefully I could have it out when I'm back to the update progress.
I am currently here just to tell you that the number of downloads has just been over 10k! Thanks everyone that introduce my mod, and thanks everyone that give a try to my mod. Thanks!
Hey, I did a Mod Spotlight for this mod a couple weeks back... Terribly sorry I didn't mention sooner >.< Anyway, hopefully I did a good job at covering the mod and let me know if I missed anything.
I love the mod, but I'd like to see the ability to toggle on/off throwing mode in-game when right clicking or maybe just the ability to bind the throw for axes to a button of the end user's choosing (like how vanilla lets you set keybind for drop, move, etc) so that it doesn't interfere with mods that have special abilities bound to right click on axe. Alternatively, a customizable blacklist option in configs would also work.

Well that is OK.Just ask you to add some Axe in this mod, still sometimes having fun with orespawn 's axes, and metallurgy too
A new version 1.2.2.0 is out. Nothing new, just some adjustments and bug fixes. An 1.6.4 backport is coming later just as usual. Enjoys!
Thank you! Both suggestions are great. I think I have to come out of some sort of mechanics to achieve them better.
Nice. I like your battle with the skeleton.
Thank you anyway. You are welcome. Please always feel free to leave me a suggestion if you have one.
A backport for MC 1.6.4 is out. Please check the top for further information.

It's a Japanese mod. Search this topic for "追加エンチャントMOD" and you would see it.
