I've been going through configs in the process of making of modpack. Well, I've included both Mariculture and Harvestcraft (version h). I wanted to keep the fishing module from Mariculture so I went to disable the harvestcraft fish. I couldn't find the setting in the config to set to false, so I peeked into the jar file. Turns out the option name used to enable/disable harvestcraft fish is the same as the option name for using tofu as milk in recipes. I can work around this by turning off the option and MineTweaking the tofu/soymilk into their appropriate ore dictionaries. I just thought I'd bring this to your attention.
With version 1.7.10i, I still cannot get a few of the jungle saplings to grow, either with bonemeal or with Thaumcraft's Hoe of Growth (which is normally pretty darn instantaneous).
The ones I've tested and don't work are:
- Papaya
- Coconut
The ones that I've tested and DO work are:
- Lime
- Starfruit
- Pecan
I haven't found any other jungle-based fruit trees yet, and I'm trying to grow these guys all in the same biome (Biomes O'Plenty Bayou).
Sorry, Palm Fruit Trees are still having issues generating/being bonemealed.

How do you get to the config file for the Harvest mod? I'd like to use it in a modpack, but the world I'm building doesn't have bees or everything you'd get from them, so I need to turn those off. Awesome work by the way!

I seem to have found an issue with the oven. While it does recognize vanilla items, and items from your own mod, food items from other mods such as Twilight Forest are not recognized. Specifically speaking here, Raw Venison item#5445 TwilightForest:item.venisonRaw is not able to be cooked in the oven. Chicken from vanilla, as well as Raw Mutton both cook as expected.
With the Quern, I put vanilla wheat on top and coal/coal block on the bottom... nothing happens.
Am I missing something obvious?
Using Forge 1388 (can't upgrade further just yet because of Optifine.)

Right now it only cooks food items I coded it to. Working on adding other food items, possibly.
While I've been able to find information that says that you should be able to get harvestcraft saplings with bonemeal, I haven't read anywhere that not being able to get saplings this way is a bug. So my question is: is this in fact a bug?
I have managed a work around using the Skript plugin, but it's a bit buggy and can cause a little lag, which is annoying.

Are there any plans for plants mega pack compatibility? I noticed that some of the natura plants can be crafted into their harvestcraft counterparts (berries work, but not crops like cotton or barley)
Hi Pam. I've been playing Minecraft with Harvestcraft since the beginning (the only mod i really need to play). But now I’ve been having troubles with my 1.7.10 (mini home) server. My harvestcraft 1.7.10h client file works fine. I can place and re-place blocks normally in a normal world (not a server). But, when i try to do the same thing on the server's world (I 've created a forge server), the harvestcraft specific blocks disappear when i place them (as if the mod is not installed on the server at all).
Is there a different “harvestcraft.JAR” that I have to install in my server’s folder? I have put the "Pam's HarvestCraft 1.7.10h.jar" in the Mods folder inside the Forge server's folder, but it wont work. I’ve started a new world a few times now (Server World), but it happens the same thing. Blocks disappear, as if the mod is not installed in the Forge server.
I tried the same thing with different 1.7.10 harvestcraft versions (f, g, h). I even re-installed my client and a new server with different versions of Forge, in case that was the problem.
The problem is not caused by mod incompatibility, since I only have harvestcraft installed right now. I uninstalled Minecraft and re-installed everything (client and server) and the problem persists.
______________ Right now I’m using:
- Minecraft 1.7.10
- Forge version: “forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1291-installer-win.exe” (client and server)
- Harvestcraft: “Pam's HarvestCraft 1.7.10h.jar”
______________ My problem:
- Harvestcraft blocks and plants wont spawn in my server world.
- Can’t place Harvestcraft blocks or items (harvestcraft items) on the map, or they immediately de-spawn, as if the mod is not installed on the server.
______________ Question:
- Is there another .JAR file that you have to specifically install on a Forge server, for it to recognize the mod, as it would normally do on my “Client” worlds (not server)?

Hunger Overhaul changes the amount food restores, Spice of Life makes it so you can only eat so many of the same food before it stops being useful for a while. Those aren't my mods.

Do you know the Dimension ID for the Aether?
Thanks for catching this. I'll have it fixed. =)

In the config folder
"dimension ids" {
I:"Aether Dimension ID"=3
I:"Dungeon Dimension ID"=4
This is what it says in the Aether config folder. I have a few different mods that add dimensions so I don't know if this is the default config.

If all else fails, use MineTweaker to make stuff oredictionary compatible with HarvestCraft.
