Poll: After finishing fluids, what feature should I work on next?
Ended Apr 13, 2015
I am loving this mod man a lot I grab the new dev version every time you release one .. I have one question for you though and its dealing with minechem does the particle physics part of it work with all the power mods such as the new buildcraft , ic2 , te, enderio, forestry, railcraft ?
Just wondering man because I have not seen any updates for it in months looking at your Jenkins .
The confusion potion is already in the mod, and if you'll notice, the potion injector is one of the poll options at the top of the page...
I haven't decided how I'm going to handle inflicting potions on other players directly...but for now, you can use the potion diffuser and Redstone to do it.
Particle Physics isn't related to AlchemyPlusPlus, and has been split off from Minechem. Currently, I haven't tested power compat with...anything really. I should probably get it updated to the RF system, but it's not really high priority for me at the moment. If there's specific stuff that you find isn't working, feel free to create a bug report on the github issue tracker.

The brewing stand that was created by the vanilla recipe above was listed as being part of Brewing API. Now that I review the modpack, and your mod's requirements, I've come to the conclusion that I screwed up in posting this here. I shall blame it on lack of coffee that day.
Thanks for the response and verification anyhow!
Lack of coffee is definitely a valid excuse!
Let me know if you run into any other problems. I'm especially interested in what people think of the balance for Survival mode, haven't gotten any feedback on that yet.

I love your 3D models. I only regret that the texture of the "potion bottle" does not work.
Continue your great job. Thank you.
Glad you're enjoying the mod! Can you send me a screenshot of the texture issue, and/or just report it on the AlchemyPlusPlus github?
After the work I did on it today...try right clicking on grass blocks. And then try right clicking on water, and then grass blocks.
The items don't have uses yet, but they'll be used for brewing stuffs.

...oh. Well. Whoops.
Here, have a fixed build.

Well, good news! All the things on the poll are slated to be added...the poll was just a question of "which one next". Glad you're excited for the new features though!
Awesome, let me know if you run into any bugs!
On a completely unrelated note, didja know I have a Patreon? If you want to help me pay for rent, internet, a new build server (and the occasional cup of coffee...), or just want to say "thank you" or "keep up the good work", a Patreon pledge is an amazing way to do so.

Continue your good work with alchemy plus and thanks again.
No problem, glad it worked for ya!

I've actually got a long list of plants that I'm going to be using. My wife is working with Kaelten (the Curse IT Director) on an mod/API called "Cornucopia", which is essentially a library of plants and their uses for other mods to extend.
AlchemyPlusPlus will be using Cornucopia to make potions that first of all make sense (eg, Aloe Vera helps with burns, or Poppy Seed relieves pain), and secondly have different strains (eg, there are different types of Lavender, each of which is effective at treating different things).
The way this will all work together, is that depending on what plants (and what strain of the plant) you're using, what process you use (eg powdering dried and reconstitution vs paste made from fresh), the end result potion may have more or less of an effect. When you're just starting out, not all of the effects will be apparent until you actually drink the potion.
As you learn more, the things you learn will appear in a "research journal", and you'll start seeing more information about the herbs you collect, and you'll be able to alter your brewing process to isolate effects.

Weeeeellll...right now I'm waiting on a flora library to be finished. @Kaelten is working on something called "Cornucopia", which I'm itching to get my hands on because it's exactly what I need. It'll allow for some really fun potion mechanics once it's hammered into shape.
Yup, it's all good. Just stalled for a bit while I wait for Cornucopia.
That said, work is progressing on my rewrite of Minechem for v6, and I've got two new mods (Projektor and Werkbench) in progress as well, so I'm keeping pretty busy.
I tweet updates on things pretty regularly, and I've started doing livestreams, which show up on my player.me profile.
