No. The ring of fire is not a "steal" from DarkWolfInsanity. We work together at Nilux Roleplay and it's the main logo.
That would be pretty difficult to implement (fake walls that we can pass through, a way to implement the invisible enemies that stay invisible, pvp balancing) in the mod itself, but most of the core features of the Lens of Truth can be achieved via command blocks... My guess would be Owl Statues. Or Kaepora Gaebora...
Noticed another little complication with the current version (3.0.3) while playing with a few friends of mine. The Silver and Golden gauntlets do not function at all on a dedicated forge server with this mod running. It does however run correctly in a solo single player game.
On single player you can correctly pickup and move blocks up to the type allowed for each of the gloves. This includes the light and heavy barrier blocks some of the hidden rooms have.
On a standalone server the gloves do nothing, even with normal blocks like dirt and wood etc. They dont get picked up. The barrier blocks also do not react with the gauntlets as they should and I have tested in the single player games.
If there is a setting Im missing let me know, Ive looked through the settings and did not notice a switch in the config to enable or disable glove funtionality on the barrier blocks but I did notice it for the other blocks and it is currently set to false to not allow use with breakable blocks. Ive also put it to true with no changes.

You name a villager The Monkey and show it your ocarina and it will teach you the Sonata of Awekening and you play the song to a villager named Deku King and it will give you the swamp boss key. Name a Goron Goron Leader (I forgot his name in the Majora's mask game) and he will teach you the Goron Lullaby and play it to a Goron name Goron Leader son and he will give you the ice temple boss key. Name a villager baby Zora and he will teach you the New Wave Bossa Nova and play the song to a villager named Lulu and she will give you the water temple boss key. Name a villager the King of Ikana and he will teach you the Elegy of Emptiness and play that to summon an entity with slowness effect so it will stay still so it can stay on a pressure plate. Also make the king give you the mountian temple boss key. Also make it where you need to have a certen mask on to get the song and key like in the game. Deku mask for Sonata of Awekeing and swamp key, Goron mask for Goron Lullaby and ice key, Zora mask for New Wave Bossa Nova and water temple key, and no mask needed for Elegy of Emptiness and mountian key. Use the mod Ars magica mod 2. I has a spell called True Sight and it's used for certion blocks and it can act like the Lens of Truth but it does not work on invisable mobs.

So you think some boss temple keys should be available as rewards? Not a bad idea, though I won't be adding any more songs at this time. I like requiring the player to be wearing the correct mask when speaking to the NPCs - I may be able to work something in with that.

There's nothing in your crash log that points to anything I can help you with, sorry. Try starting your server with just Forge, then add mods one by one until you get the crash - if it's really my mod that's doing it, I'll look into it, but I and many others have played 1.8 ZSS on servers without experiencing such a crash.
I think this is your problem with running a forge server with the version on Java you have.

Unless this has been fixed already Minecraft forge doesnt work properly with Version 8 of Java.
Try installing version 7 of Java and running the Forge server with that version. You might get everything to work then. I know I had to do that to fix my Forge server crashing.
