ok I just made an account here just so I could come here and tell you how to get mc 1.9 working on multimc(or in my case hack phoenix's multimc)
now firstly when you make an instance for mc 1.9 you will quickly notice it just wont launch giving you some error "the amazon server cannot be reached" bla bla bla.
now what you wana do is edit the instance, then on the right hand side of the screen under edit select "customize" and then after select "edit"
if all goes as planned it will bring up the configuration file in a text editor such as notepad or notepad++ if you have it installed.
from there you want to find the line of code that states "minimumLauncherVersion", it will be close to the bottom of the json file, and just plainly remove the entire line.
once thats done, save the json file and attempt to launch the mc 1.9 instance, you will notice it now properly updates and now functions properly.
from there just install the latest version of forge, and voila you will be able to install the newly released version of liteloader as any other .jar mod.
~~
well eitherway I hope that information helps you, it took me the better part of 2 weeks and many hours of scouring the internet whilst muttering and cursing to figure it out. ejnoy

Thanks for trying to help but I didn't find the line of code I needed to delete after clicking customize and then edit. This is all the json file said.
Does this come standalone version without loaders?
I use liteloader so that it's as lightweight as physically possible to use this mod. Basically a "standalone" version would require basically what liteloader is to be bundled with the mod anyway! Effectively liteloader represents the lightest possible way of having this kind of small, client-side mod work simply and easily.
Making a "standalone" mod would require (at minimum) a tweaker, plus an installer to register that tweaker with the launcher, and then the actual hooks and utility functions needed to hook into minecraft itself, this would make the mod larger and would mean that similar "standalone" mods would need the entire same framework bundled with them too.
Using liteloader means you basically install all the necessary scaffholding for loading a basic mod once, and then all your small client-side mods can use that same functionality without needing to reinvent the wheel every time. Installing Liteloader is not like installing Forge, because it literally is just this minimal framework to let mods get off the ground, whereas Forge is an entire cumbersome API aimed at supporting much more substantial modifications. LiteLoader on the other hand is basically just the minimal framework required to let simple mods hook into the game, and pretty much nothing else.
What I'm saying is that basically a "standalone" version of this mod would consist of this mod plus liteloader, and so having them separate is basically just a convenience so that the lite loading functionality can be shared amongst similar mods. If you really don't like the idea of installing liteloader, you should question whether you want to be installing mods at all, since there isn't really a simpler way to go about it than liteloader already represents.
The "Clear WorldEdit selection" and "Toggle CUI visibility" hotkeys don't seem to work for me in 1.9.4. I'm also using the macro mod so I just mapped //desel with that, but just thought I should mention.

Do you mean that the buttons do not work, or the actual CUI itself does not work, and you assume the CUI is toggled off?
Make sure you are using the latest WorldeditCUI. I downloaded it when it was updated, and had the same problem as you. The CUI did not work, and the buttons did not work. When I redownloaded the mod, it was version 1.9.4_01 whereas the version I had was 1.9.4_00.

Try to redownload the mod.
To clarify, _00 was for the early builds of liteloader 1.9.4, later snapshots need _01
Hi @Mumfrey, Just wondering if your mod supports 1.8.9, because I downloaded the 1.8 version for 1.8.9 (mojang said that versions 1.8 - 1.8.9 are all compatible with each other) thinking it would work, though liteloader says that it isn't working.
Do you have a 1.8.9 version, or some other method I can get it to work with 1.8.9?
I haven't updated it yet, mods only work for the version they're made for.
Ok thanks hopefully soon
Preliminary version for 1.9 is now available:
Ensure that you're running the latest LiteLoader Snapshot before installing.
Snapshots available here.
How can I install LiteLoader 1.9 using MultiMC?
I'm not sure that MultiMC supports the snapshots.

I love you for updating this to 1.9 Mumfrey! Here, take an imaginary cookie and one of my baby! (as you might guess, all my babies are dragons)
Mod is now updated to 1.9.4, though the forum doesn't have a tag for that version yet. This version obviously requires LiteLoader 1.9.4.
Thank you so much! <3

I've found the version at
http://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/242932-worldeditcui-forge-edition
after reading some other posts.
It turns out that this version works with 1.8.9.
Please disregard this post.
Thanks,

1.10 build now available:
Requires LiteLoader 1.10
