i looked thru the last three pages and i cant seem to find if you added the ability to add potions i thought you did but i cant seem to find it O.o *is trying to add in potions*
thanks for the help
Vanilla potions are just different damage values, so adding them is the same as with other items. Most of those posts were in regards to enchantments, which were rather tricky to get working properly since they use NBT.

It's a syntax error, replace the colons in the whitelist sections with spaces. It's a pretty common error since the NEI dump uses colons, I probably should just make it so that the config can handle colons.

oh snap your right i did use colons *facepalm* thank you for helping me i feel dumb now....i blame the ice cream *shakes fist at cold stone creamery* darn you for making amazing ice cream that makes you feel tired XD
as far as making the config handle colons tbh thats something that is up to you and others as im neutral to it lol
Im getting stuff I blacklisted globally and in the bags what do I do? fixed it i think
a friend of mine asked me to suggest something which i agree it would be cool if you could do
is it possible to make it where you could put in the "no tools" or "iron tools" or "iron armor" and it would make it where you could have no tools in the bags or only iron tools or iron armor in bags?
i dont think this would be possible personally but if it is that would be a cool feature
it seems like with the latest version, some mod items would never appear in a lootbag.
namely rftools dimlets and ae inscriber presses.
though when i spawn the chest, the items do have a chance to spawn inside the chest.
just not in loot bags
AE presses don't spawn in any of the default dungeon chest lists as far as I am aware, so unless they are added by whitelist they will never show up in bags.
Nothing has changed in my mod lately, and I know that older versions (pre dw20 spotlight) of rftools spawn dimlets with 1.8.1. Taking a look at McJty's github, it appears that the dimlets are added to the dungeon chests on WorldLoad and I generate my tables during PostInit (earlier than WorldLoad). I'll add this to my list to fix, but in the meantime you should be able to whitelist the unknown dimlet without any issue.
ive tried whitelisting the dimlets and aepressess in the global and bagspecific list but to no avail. i just assumed it only allows whitelisting items already in the hooked table and not items not in a list already.
ive added the dimlet and ae presses into the " dungeonChest " using minetweaker.
ive tried removing all other entries inside " dungeonChest " and only leaving the presses and dimlets in it. lootbag was disabled because it "loottable is empty" or something like that. though i havent tried removing everything else but leaving an item already in the list.
ive also tried to add a custom loottable using minetweaker and seems like the lootbag doesnt detect the table. checked this by removing all other entries in the "loot hook" list and leaving just my custom loottable.
though i do have a doubt that all this might my error or the editor ive been using, which is notepad++. i assumed this because ive tried leaving the loothook list empty, launch the game, and as expected, disabled lootbags. but when i manually repopulate the list, lootbags was still disabled. i had to delete so the mod regenerate the config.
ill try using notepad later.
btw, i did the global whitelisting like this;
minecraft diamond
rftools unknowndimlets
i havent tried using the version 1.5.3, which is the one skyfactory was using. it had ae presses in the lootbags.

okay i think i know what your problem might be
this is a snip of my config
you are not adding the numbers after that is needed
first number is like meta data second number is amount and third number is the weight which for mine its pretty common try that out and let us know if it works
fyi for weights the lower the number the more rare it is
Your minetweaker problems are of a similar nature to the original rftools issue, both mods do their loot table changes after I pull the table. In the meantime, using my config to add the items to the bags will work.
Hi.
It is immediately to you crash report.
When you open by right-clicking with a LootBag, always server-side crashes(in single play).
It might cause my PC specs to Maybe, but thank you to confirm the crash reports.

sorry.I used LiteLoader1.7.10-1.7.10-Forge10.13.4.1448-1.7.10 & LootBags 1.8.1 or 1.8.0
Is there any chance you could add a way to automatically open loot bags? maybe a block that you feed loot bags in and it opens them and then it can output to a adjacent chest or be piped out. Only reason I ask is because I can't find an automated way besides autonomous activators and I don't like Thermal Expansion enough to add it just to automate loot bags.

When I add the mystcraftTreasure loot table to the config, nothing from mystcraft shows up in any of the bags; I removed all loot from the configured loot bags, went to creative and spawned loot bags, but the loot bags say something about being removed for lack of loot. That tells me that it doesn't recognize mystcraftTreasure as a loot table, even though the loot table has 512 items in it and it shows up in the loot bags dump files. Another related issue is if I add dungeonChest to the loot table, it pulls a specific three items every time; in every loot bag, those same three items show up.

I think there are a few mods that expand the potion pool, More Potions I think is one of them, they should help solve the issue of no Haste potions. I don't know if the individual varieties use item IDs or NBT, but if it's item ID based then you can add them to lootbags like any other item.

That is most likely the late load issue others have experienced, I'm working on fixing the issue in the next version. I'm not sure what's the issue with dungeonChest, I just did a test with a default config and only dungeonChest and it's working fine for me.
Vanilla potions are just different damage values, so adding them is the same as with other items. Most of those posts were in regards to enchantments, which were rather tricky to get working properly since they use NBT.

i opened ALOT of bags so idk what's going on for me is it cuz of the weights maybe? (the last numbers?) or what? and i am not good with thinking atm since apparently ice cream makes you really sleepy on hot days >.< thank you so much
It's a syntax error, replace the colons in the whitelist sections with spaces. It's a pretty common error since the NEI dump uses colons, I probably should just make it so that the config can handle colons.
Developer of LootBags.
oh snap your right i did use colons *facepalm* thank you for helping me i feel dumb now....i blame the ice cream *shakes fist at cold stone creamery* darn you for making amazing ice cream that makes you feel tired XD
as far as making the config handle colons tbh thats something that is up to you and others as im neutral to it lol
I
m getting stuff I blacklisted globally and in the bags what do I do?fixed it i thinka friend of mine asked me to suggest something which i agree it would be cool if you could do
is it possible to make it where you could put in the "no tools" or "iron tools" or "iron armor" and it would make it where you could have no tools in the bags or only iron tools or iron armor in bags?
i dont think this would be possible personally but if it is that would be a cool feature
it seems like with the latest version, some mod items would never appear in a lootbag.
namely rftools dimlets and ae inscriber presses.
though when i spawn the chest, the items do have a chance to spawn inside the chest.
just not in loot bags
Developer of LootBags.
ive tried whitelisting the dimlets and aepressess in the global and bagspecific list but to no avail. i just assumed it only allows whitelisting items already in the hooked table and not items not in a list already.
ive added the dimlet and ae presses into the " dungeonChest " using minetweaker.
ive tried removing all other entries inside " dungeonChest " and only leaving the presses and dimlets in it. lootbag was disabled because it "loottable is empty" or something like that. though i havent tried removing everything else but leaving an item already in the list.
ive also tried to add a custom loottable using minetweaker and seems like the lootbag doesnt detect the table. checked this by removing all other entries in the "loot hook" list and leaving just my custom loottable.
though i do have a doubt that all this might my error or the editor ive been using, which is notepad++. i assumed this because ive tried leaving the loothook list empty, launch the game, and as expected, disabled lootbags. but when i manually repopulate the list, lootbags was still disabled. i had to delete so the mod regenerate the config.
ill try using notepad later.
btw, i did the global whitelisting like this;
minecraft diamond
rftools unknowndimlets
i havent tried using the version 1.5.3, which is the one skyfactory was using. it had ae presses in the lootbags.
okay i think i know what your problem might be
this is a snip of my config
S:"Common Bag Whitelist" <
minecraft torch 0 16 30
minecraft bread 0 20 30
kegare.caveworld rope 0 5 30
minecraft arrow 0 16 30
S:"Global Whitelist" <
minecraft gold_nugget 0 64 30
harvestcraft grainbaitItem 0 4 30
harvestcraft fishtrapbaitItem 0 4 30
harvestcraft fruitbaitItem 0 4 30
you are not adding the numbers after that is needed
first number is like meta data second number is amount and third number is the weight which for mine its pretty common try that out and let us know if it works
fyi for weights the lower the number the more rare it is
Your minetweaker problems are of a similar nature to the original rftools issue, both mods do their loot table changes after I pull the table. In the meantime, using my config to add the items to the bags will work.
Developer of LootBags.
Thank you. You guys are good people.
i have to admit there must have been something i did wrong becuase adding item to the whitelist seems to work now.
When you open by right-clicking with a LootBag, always server-side crashes(in single play). It might cause my PC specs to Maybe, but thank you to confirm the crash reports.
