So, I am playing on a Simply Magic (3rd party modpack hosted in the FTB launcher) server (hub.grumpycraft.com), and there are a number of Thaumcraft addons in the pack. Not enough to push the tabs off the screen thankfully.
But they all have research tabs and they all add research. And a lot of the research adds permanent warp.
So I scanned all the things, and set about being a good thurmaturge and researched everything:
Pro tip - if you are playing TC 4 on "normal" research difficulty, Ordo is the research point type you will need the most. And you can get a bonus of 64 ordo if the first Essentia Jar you scan contains 64 points of Ordo. So do yourself a favor and do that.
By the time I was done with my binge research, permanent warp was nudging the bottom of the top gold band on the warp meter and I had both Eldritch Ephiphany AND Eldritch Revelations just from warp events while standing at the research table.
Warp events are frequent - I don't frankly think the game is going to be playable even with soap...
Stupid question here i'm sure...but I am not seeing any golem traits or the parts? Like the levitators. I'm using creative just to find them. Are they not in the tabs? I'm using the latest Thaumcraft

Late game farm idea: Ore/gem generator
-Have a stone generator push stone next to taint.
-Have a flux source, maybe a smeltery that only runs when flux is below a certain treshhold with an arcane dioptra + comparator. Use golem empties jars.
-Block update detector push tainted rock away when it gets converted or something like that.
-Tainted rock gets pushed near ethereal blooms, and becomes porous stone.
-Porous stone gets moved to an arcane bore with fortune III
I still have to think how everything is going to work, but it might be possible to pull off.
Porous stone drops mostly cobblestone, shards (with bias towards tainted shards, and rarely a balanced one), all types of crystallized essence, redstone, diamonds, emeralds, quartz, prismarine shards, clay, all native clusters and amber.
Awesome, this could become broken though.

Bug report: if you use the ATLauncher, and install just this mod and Baubles into a custom pack (yes, it was the correct version), the game will crash.

You should probably bring this up with ATLauncher. From experience, they tend to screw up with Forge versions especially.
However, a crash report here would probably get things moving in the right direction as well. And I mean the generated one, not just saying it crashed (not saying you would do that but need to cover my bases).
So there isn't any place to see updates or if it's happening? I know mod authors don't like being bugged, but I don't see anywhere it even confirms how long, if it's even going to be for 1.10, or if it's even still being developed. Is there not a place to find information like that?

They are fun, you will get used to it :D. The Hunger is sometimes great if you have to much Rottenflesh in you inventory ^^

I have already observed this. For some reason I thought the warp effects toning down on a timer was a TC5 feature.
Will the next update be bringing any magical adjustments to the elytra?

Dang, i never considered that. Makes me think what you could do with shulkers and auto casters...

I'm guessing it would be for separate purposes. The harness for building and stuff, With the elytra used for travel and exploration.
