Quick lil' bump! ^^ Any know of what may have happened?
Are you talking just the scale, or the hitbox?
And do you mean that you cannot change the scale, as in it resets back to 100%?
You didn't exactly explain much other than "player heights are always at...". Not what happens if you try to change it, or what you expect to happen instead. :\

Apologies, really should have described a bit more, my bad! Though, specifics, the scales in the settings can be changed as usual, never resets itself, though the changes made never show on the player model itself. After a bit more time spent searching, I found out that the /sit, /crawl commands and so forth don't work either. They lower the field of view fine, as usual, and so does the scale change if I alter height, tough it's the model that doesn't change. Hitbox stays the same from what I see, though.

Hitbox isn't intended to change, I just wanted to be sure that wasn't what you meant.
Have you tried only running MPM to rule out any funky incompatibilities? I cannot recall the list of remaining bugs for the 1.8.9 version to be honest with you.

Try running it without Optifine. I can't remember which one of the 1.8 updates it was, but I think one of them didn't work at all with Optifine when I'd tried. It did exactly as you described: changed the view, but the model itself did not change.
this mod is awesome and we want to use it on our 1.7.10 server.
But there's just one thing: We want to prevent players to create ugly creatures not fitting our medieval setting.
Do you see any possibility to add permissions so that players can load those skins like Dwars, Ogres and so on but not modify them (maybe just hide the buttons?)?

That would make it nearly perfect!
Limitations beyond the permission node to use Mob models won't be added to MPM I'm afraid.
If you want to police any player model modifications you'll have to do that yourselves with your Staffing team.
Noppes does not believe that limiting player creativity/functionality is a direction this mod will take.
While I agree that limiting certain combinations of scale or other modifications that just out-right ridiculous would be nice, it isn't exactly in the purpose of this mod for that sort of ordeal.
This particular type of request has been asked quite a few times already, and rejected for the same reasons I have listed above.
Perhaps it is time these sorts of questions are added to an F.A.Q

Hello, I have a question. The poses on the mods aren't working and I want to know how to fix it
"not working" posts, no one can do anything with.
Need your version of MC, the Mod, possibly other Mods installed, etc;
We can't do anything without any actual information.

Too bad :-(
Sometimes, "limitations" are confounded with rules necessary to play together.
So instead of giving us some more settings, players are much more limitated because of a missing mod.

And you are well within your right to not install support for the mod.

I have this mod for 1.8, 1.9.4 and for 1.10.2. Are you able to add particles to your character in any of those versions? If you know, please Reply! Thank You <3

I think you could still add particle effects in 1.8, I'm not sure about 1.9 though?
If you have these, why not try and find out? o.O

it also does tht more noticeably on the other types
its clipping vanilla armor :/
This has happened for a while with most/all of the breast options, not sure why no one mentioned it before. XD I guess they aren't used that often or people just kind of shrug it off. Kinda like how the Digiti-grade legs "Clip" through the armor too.
It's just a case of the armors aren't designed to render over/around these particular shapes.
Personally far as the legs go, I think it'd be safe to disable the leggings rendering on the digi-grade. That's not so much a solution for breasts though

Do we need the bukkit plugin on Thermos (Cauldron fork) if we put the mod in the server?
And if not: What about the permission "moreplayermodels.entities". Does it work wihout the plugin?
For a hybrid plugin+mod server, you can install either.
If you want the data of models to send between clients, yes the server needs one or the other for that to occur.
The permission node only works with the mod or plugin installed, as it prevents the entity data from being sent to the other player(s) from the player turning into an entity. This means a player can look like an entity on their client, but no one on the server will see the entity.
An option to disable armor would be nice too I think

will there ever be an option for offline skins and changing skins with just one tap of a key button
it would be useful for "detailed" role plays!
Do you mean being able to toggle between skins using a hotkey?
Similar to toggling an action with a hotkey (such as sit or wave)?
And you are well within your right to not install support for the mod.
