Don't rescale your size?
This is a scaling incompatibility between the mods. At this point you have two options:
1. Find out what is different between default minecraft armors and the other mods armors, and see if it can be resolved somewhere (Either the other mod or here, depending on what the issue is)
2. Just don't rescale your player.

I guess I can try and mess around with the mods and see what I can do.
I don't have this kind of experience at tinkering with code, but I believe I could do it.
I'll try to do something, but, as a final request, do you possibly know of any way to read .class files?
My current programs can't read them.
I was simply referring to talking to the developer.. Not going into the code yourself...

Though like I said, thanks to my inexperience, I can't do anything with these, other than try to make some sense of it.
Essentially, like I said this before, the armor here, apart from having its texture and ItemSomethingSomething inside the JAR file,
it also has a model to be rendered for such armor, making it look 3d and fancy and whatnot.
I truly believe this is the source of the issue. I'm not sure who I should talk to, the author of the mod with the armor, or noppes.
I'm going to again refer to the other developer for the information you need, to give Noppes, for any easy fix between the two mods.
Noppes has a lot on his plate already, as I'm sure the other dev does too.
If you can find any information that would help either or both out, it would be tremendous help and a set in the right direction if this could be resolved.
I am sure that multiple different armor adding mods have different ways to adjust/apply their armors, so the point here would be to find the common ground.
What is it exactly that the other mod's armors apply to, to make them appear/function they way they do. That would help determine who needs to fix what in their mod, if it were possible and even accepted to do so.

What version are you on? What kind of armor are you tyring to wear?
I'm not sure what version he's running, but he's trying to wear armor from a mod. Apparently they code it in such a way that it makes the models 3D, normal armor scales fine for him, but the modded armor's are the issue.

So, for some reason, Skindex Skins don't work with the skin feature. Not sure why. Anybody know how to fix this?
Are you sure you're using the right URL for the skin?

That's the direct path to the skin's image file, and the URL that should be used in MPM's URL entry.
Have you updated to the newest Beta version Noppes posted 9hrs ago? If not, try updating it and trying the URL again. I am going to assume you were using the Beta version, since you did not provide which version of MPM you were using.

In the latest MpM beta, ive found that none of the options under the "Parts" section do anything at all. Also the arm on the playermodel looks a little strange but thats nothing too much. Glad to have this back up and running
Edit: I have however noticed the mod doesnt like the Alex skin playermodel. Maybe a good idea to add a toggle so the mod knows which skintype you are using.
Edit2: While using POV, hitboxes still act asif your POV had not changed at all

Hitboxes being always the same is intended, this is an aesthetic mod, nothing more than that...

I believe they may be referring to the targetting hitbot.

Does MPM support textures using the new 'Alex' template for newer versions of minecraft now? If so do you have templates to go by? I haven't seen any new templates for figuring out where things like wings, tail, etc. are since the very early versions of MPM and doing a lot of guess work for current 'Steve' models, I don't think I'd stand a chance guessing them on the 'Alex' one if it's even supported yet.

Anyways, I got the program I needed.
Took a deeper look into the code.

Thaumium Fortress Armor from Thaumcraft
P.S.: The few armors that Tinkers' Construct has to offer cause the same issue (They do not have models).
Also updated the 1.8 beta to work with this plugin. See download at the OP
Only things left to fix are the animations I believe. If you find more bugs do report them. Thanks

Lets say that we are using this skin here: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/5129293/lime-slime/
So we want to locate the URL Image Link: "http://www.minecraftskins.com/newuploaded_skins/skin_20150314063038120904.png"
That's the direct path to the skin's image file, and the URL that should be used in MPM's URL entry.

I think they are preventing anything but browsers from viewing their images. Try uploading your image to imgurl instead
