Ok I figured it out.. I derped a tad. I had a chess program running calculations in the background and it sucked my cpu away. Without it running it loads fine. Sorry about that!

How long does it take an altar to recognize a non blood rune that has been placed in it's design? I just got done placing 8 Self Sacrificing Runes around my altar in place of the initial 8 runes you need to make a tier 2 altar and only 4 of them were recognized by the time I was done placing them. Or is there some limit to how many non blood runes can be placed per tier?

On tier2 and 3 I think only 4 of the 8 runes are valid, I think they are the ones that form a cross and the ones on the sides aren't recognized until Tier 3 or 4, not sure at which one for sure but I know that at Tier2 only 4 are valid.
Thank you Dodge and Wolf. It mentions this a bit in the first post but only talked about the speed and efficiency runes. And the Tier 3 altar isn't clear about all the Tier 2 ruins being interchangable as the wording leads you to believe it only applies to the 28 additional spots for ruins.
Just a small idea for an item: portable teleposer, moves the player to a bound teleposer on activation, there are very few magical ways to do this it seems. Thanks for a great mod
I agree here, a little bit like I think Crystal Wings (I've heard that its what this mod does, never used it), you could bind a portable teleposer to one in the world and you could teleport back to it, maybe even have the portable one remember the last location so it could be a temporary teleport point.
Way I just watched you vid on youtube and in the description you said you were making even more end game armor. Is that true and are you almost done with it? Cas as of now the bound arumor is not that good at all with no longer 100% reduction and the fact that someone can make it as weak as dimond with soul frey splash potion.

Why would I really make my armour 100% perfect? Also, they would need to have said potions in order to defeat you, and you can easily make some as well... You can either be a jack of all trades or a king in one.

Well you did it in the beginning and its what put bound armor on the map on servers and in mod packs as well as a lot of popular mods have done it, for example: quantum armor. Also your enemy may not have bound armor they may have something from another mod. And it's not anywhere near 100% perfect anymore more like 80. I think you may forget way, people usually play with more than one mod installed.

I haven't forgotten, that's the point. You can use potions for other things, such as poison, str IV, regen, etc. I like armour having weaknesses, so it's more like rock, paper, scissors rather than rock, bigger rock, boulder.

Ok way if you like it where your armors weakness makes is suck so bad it's point less to make than that's ur call (your rock paper scissors is more like tinfoil meets bolt cutters) but Ima go check out industrialcraft where I have full protection and someone can't make it worse than dimond by simply making a potion.

If you want completely OP with no planning, go somewhere else. Bound Armour can offer 99.9% armour protection if you use a potion. This "worse than diamond" argument doesn't even take into account Soul Harden, which mitigates that greatly. There are also MANY buffs that the armour may take on, such as Whirlwind (which can probably redirect thrown potions) and immunity to the elements, which a lot of people think is beyond OP.
I'm not going to change my mind about this, and being grumpy to me about that will not sway my opinion. Hell, Project: Omega gives a lot better armour and protection + damage mitigation, so I'd advise you to actually look at the bloody facts instead of going for theoretical situations that can also be mitigated.
Once again, if you want 100% protection, get off my lawn.

I dident expect what I say to change anything, I am 1 illrelevent cry baby on the forums and I get that but please answer me this: why did you change it from 100%. will a splash soul Frey potion not negate your soul harden thus making it like you don't have it? Wirlwind deflects potions? And where can I find out more about project: omega because I can find anything about it other than you saying it a few times.
Edit: It is most likely loading up the Compression handler. If you wait it will finish soon. If there is a long recipe list it will take a bit.

After that, anything goes.
It only applies to things with low health, i.e. if the mob is damaged.

Ya, I punched them so they would be missing some health, still wouldn't work.
