Trying to install shaders mod for 1.10, but there's no shadersmodcore file in the .jar ): help
Why are you editing any .jar files? Just download optifine and place it in your mods folder. It's got the shaders mod built in now

This part of the website is EXTREMELY out of date. If you just install Liteloader then place the optifine download for your version in the mods folder, you should be set. The shaders options are in video settings.

Either my computer dosent like the Liteloader or i dont know how to download it.. i did everything it said if i wanted Forge and Optifine but.. it didnt show up as a new profile..
If you're using any mod that uses a mixin (most do now), you'll need the LATEST forge. If you have 2020, you're good.
2011 works just fine for me... I get tired of the constant updates often required with Forge! They often break Mods that have been working. Why continually update for the same MC version?

Forge has a lot of APIs (unlike Liteloader), so there are a lot of updates to be expected (due to bugfixes or new features).
look at the progress on https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge
All right, figured now would be as good a time as any to let you know that I've added pages for LiteMods you've currently got listed, as well as created two new LiteMods and taken over development of Gammabright, each with a matching complement of pages. I've also migrated most of my stuff into GitHub and started a twitter account to announce updates and whatnot, both of which would also be nice if you could add to mods with my name on them. The versions listed are only the versions I've released -- the versions on Legacy Threads (or in the case of Gammabright, contained both there and within the curse mod system) may go back even further.

After installing liteloader log file (latest.log) was clogged by debug messages - 5k lines of code like this:
[22:29:25] [Client thread/DEBUG]: Registered/replaced new sound event location weaponcaseloot:bow_open
[22:29:25] [Client thread/DEBUG]: Skipped playing soundEvent: minecraft:music.menu, master volume was zero
Forge 1.7.10 1614, java 8 u101. All debug options are disabled
UPD: ah, GollumCoreLib is the cause of all this ****, sry
That might not be your fault, it could be an incompatibility between liteloader and forge. Can you upload your mod somewhere so I can take a look at it?
I am running into issues trying to get Daflight mod to work (and in extension, liteloader) ... I never used any of these mods but I HATE the "on ice" skating of flying in Creative mode ... in the distant past I used Zombe's flying mod to get rid of that but that was on a bukkit server... Now I want it easier so I installed and am maintaining my addons through Curse...
Now curse does not have liteloader (or daflight) listed in their database so I need to install it manually... I of course do use forge and about 18 other mods... none to do with flying however.
I tried using the EXE installer of liteloader and it does not work (i do not get a second profile in my minecraft), also I tried putting the .jar file manually in the curse minecraft directory (in the mods folder where the other mod jars are) but on its own that seems to do nothing (probably because i don't have that second profile?)
TLDR:
My question, how do I install Liteloader/Daflight for single player creative when using Curse/Forge ?
If you already use forge, the easiest way is just to download the installer, then use the "extract" function to extract it to your mods directory, forge will then load it. I cannot support all third-party launchers with the installer because they all use different systems for registering tweaks.
Hello, I posted my question 22 hours ago and no reply yet. Is this the official support thread for this mod or should I look elsewhere?
Thank you
I've been away working on an event (begins with "I", ends with "nia") and it takes me a few days to clear the backlog of messages, forum posts, issues, etc. when I've been away for a while.
Bear with me, trying to get back into real life after doing a whole cavalcade of events recently. Of course prep is already underway for Minecon, but that's a few weeks away yet. I will get to it.

o: alrighty, as a work around for now, can you put me on the right track to make my own plugin's command? Like send a command at chat but not send it to the server, I'd like it to accept a single argument.

Implement OutboundChatFilter. Return false in onSendChatMessage.
After that, I saved and closed the conf. The result of running "updatemcp" is "No updates found", which shouldn't be as there have to be 4 or so files that I have to "accept" or something. This leads to a failure with eclipse, etc. after decompiling.
(I am using all the files for Minecraft 1.9.4)
Does anybody know a workaround or fix? Thanks in advance!
Thee's an easy fix -- use a dev environment that doesn't use MCP at all.
Mumfrey changed up how modders use LiteLoader by switching to the much easier Gradle system. In the past, Mumfrey's linked to as an example of how to start working with LiteLoader (despite the fact that the video is about working with sponge). All you have to do is wherever in the video it says to use a certain URL for sponge, use the link for the Example Mod that he has linked on the official LiteLoader website. Generally if you follow the video, you can get a base mod up and running with that, and rewrite it however you want from there.
For now, that's probably the best you're gonna get, since he has yet to release a full tutorial on how to work with LiteLoader through Gradle, but it sure beats wondering why MCP isn't actually a viable option anymore.

I'm just trying to do what it says in this guide; http://www.liteloader.com/explore/docs/user:install:othertweaks:shaders
I already have optifine but no shader options

@ H-K342;
Latest "recommended" Forge... install it!
Extend LiteLoader from the installed Forge.
Easy peasy.
Optifine download gets put in ~/versions/version folder.

I tried this, and the onSendChatMessage was not firing up, the onChat did, I'll re-try, it was really late and I was tired, probably missed something.
Edit: That worked, I think last night I was using the ChatListener instead of the filter
