Hmm. I still don't see anything overly concerning in there. Reika has caused problems for liteloader in the past with resource loading because he does some hacky stuff in DragonAPI but all I can see is that he's correcting that problem here by forcing a resource reload. Other than that, I have no idea how it would impact things. Might be an idea to try what his log message suggests and forcibly reload resources yourself?
It could be that his "fix" for him breaking the resource loading in the first place is actually instead breaking something else as a consequence.
I will try that, no guarantees that it will work but who knows...

So reloading the resources did work! It appears that although Reika took the right action, he did it at the wrong time. He should have made the mod reload the resources upon entering the world rather than at the menu (it was useless that way). Thank you very much!!!

I did try to put it in the 1.8 folder, but minecraft won't load with it. When I try opening it, Java opens up and then instantly closes. I put it in the right folder, but it may have to do something with my version? I'm using the 1.8 liteloader, and the 1.8.4 (The newest version) of optifine. Should I try using a older version?
maybe im missing something, but ive been working on a custom modpack in the Curse Launcher, and i cant figure out how to install Liteloader to the instance of minecraft Curse uses. Is this not possible or am i missing something here?
Hello. I installed liteloader along with Forge to enable me to use Matmos which I just recently found out had been updated again.
However after getting Matmos working I discovered that Liteloader seems to break mods changing the step height.
I have two different mods that do this: IguanaTweaks, which I have set to keep my step height at 1, and BuildcraftOilTweak which is a small mod made by Vexatos which makes it difficult to get out of oil should you fall in. One of the ways it does this is by setting your step height to 0 while in an oil block.
After adding liteloader and getting Matmos working I ran around for a bit and almost immidietly noticed that my step height had not been set to 1 since I could not run over blocks anymore. I could however use stairs and such as normal. I decided to test if OilTweak behaved improperly as well and placed an oil block and jumped in. It set my step height to 0 as I had to fly out to escape. Afterwards however I discovered that my step height was now permanently 0. OilTweak nor IguanaTweaks had been able to change it back apparently, or had not tried.
It may be because of them being unable to respond to an event or something similar.
I would really like to be able to use Matmos again...
This is what keeps me from modding my Minecraft. Other than Optifine/mcpatcher and resource packs, mods always end up being a mess with versions. I have just installed and Optifine'd MC 1.8.4, and now the latest development build is 1.8.0. Has anyone downloaded, and is running it without critical problems?
SLOW DOWN! Read what you just posted. What makes you think 1.8.4 will EVER be compatible with 1.8 (1.8.0 & 1.8 are the same version!)? All numbers of all mods and MC version must match (with very few exceptions)!
I have had a similar problem, but i can't even allocate more ram to it using litelodaer... and it only happens for liteloader.. i can use other versions fine like forge an vanilla.
I have the 64 bit java installed and it is the jdk
Do you have a mac?

Because of some derp with MCP for 1.7.10, you need to follow the steps in this README.md when decompiling. If you've already decompiled (which you must have if you followed the tutorial) then first run cleanup.bat to delete all the current decompiled resources, then follow the steps in that tutorial to update the configs, and finally run decompile.bat again to decompile using the updated configs.
I followed the steps but I am having the same issue as Autom. Any idea on what I should do?
I will try that, and see if it works, even tho i believe i already uninstalled all 32 bit java versions. and what i mean is that i change the ram in the launcher
to 4 (also tried all above) and it gives me the typical error that it can't start the virtual machine.
what's the entire error? Make sure that you didn't make any mistakes in typing the args (see my image)
Help wanted. Recently, on one of the projects on which I sometimes play, opened server 1.8.7 with liteloader. Yesterday I started an attempt to create the assembly. Liteloader did not put on the client version 1.8.7 (and higher 1.8.0)
For sure the problem already has a solution, If it's not hard for you - give me a link.
I will try that, no guarantees that it will work but who knows...

Glad it's working for you.
Mumfrey, something happened again however it may be on NEI's or RoC's end this time...

Don't Panic! But really, don't.

You have a cape mod installed, don't you? An authlib update has broken it. Tell the mod author.

Hi!
I'm trying to use the CurseVoice client. It has its own way of handling stuff, e.g. mods in MC.
Works great for normal forge mods but LiteLoader and Optifine not so much.
Have anone managed to get CurseClient + Froge + LiteLoader to work?
(Without the CurseClient its no problem as far as I know).

Liteloader is for 1.8 only. 1.8.7 won't work.
