Foreword:
I joined just to congratulate for this mod that I consider to be passionate about dalek truly spectacular.
the mobs: daleks, cyberman etc are really really good.
I regret, however, that the mod can not be used with others, due to overwriting of 2 files (so it would seem) and as I already know.
The strange thing is that more than 45 mods get along and this wonder by itself cause the program to crash.
Wonder if it is still possible to use or have a mod compatible also with only the mobs.
(sorry i use the traslator)
have you tried dalek mod lite? http://dalekmodlite.swdteam.co.uk/ it just has daleks and a cyberman. (maybe a bit more too, but i haven't played it yet.) it's designed to be more compatible.
also merry Christmas everyone. or happy holidays if you prefer that choice of words or you don't celebrate christmas. wishing you all a great holiday season!
OK, so I read the earlier posts and I did put in the patch update, but it still doesn't work. The Calendar resets itself to day one and when i go to day 25 it keeps on crashing. I've backed up all my worlds, deleted Minecraft and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. The patch isn't helping.
EDIT:i actually got the iSnowman...wut BUT DON'T SPAWN IT IT!!!!! even if i killed it my world got corrupted and i can't get in it. I also have downloaded 1WTC's latest patch for the dalek mod
yet another edit....

I seem to understand that the problem is always the same: 2 id block files are overwriting,
(in dalek mod were assigned two files that override the id of 2 blocks of the program)
this does not allow the mod to be compatible with many others,
sin, wondering if it's possible a solution to the problem.
This crash looks to be being caused due to the fact that there are too many entities and basically the spawn packet cannot spawn the mob because the ID is cast to a byte which then in a sense breaks. We are working on a new way to get around this so we don't have to worry about this crash anymore, but it will be in either update 38 or 39
Could you potentially link me to said bugfix patch?

don't look in the calendar, 1WTC will be removing the christmas title screen next update or just go into the dalek mod config file and set showdalekmodtitle= from true to false
oh hey, hate to be that guy, but, is there a confirmed release date for the next update? Luke mentioned it saying that it should be out in early 2015 (or was it the 80s interior?)

the system details portion of the crash report that shows what mods you are using would be very helpfull. Some conflicts are known as well as the fix for them.
I am happy and confident of the answer,
wait impatiently for any developments on the matter, also a lite version compatible 360 'containing just the mobs,
it would be a pity not to make it more compatible this great mod!
For now i'm updating the other mods, trying to see the most interesting, i'd hate to just give up this dalek-wonder
Sincerely thank you.
(Sorry for my english i use the translator)
Is Custom NPC'S by chance one of the other mods you are using. If so then the fix is actually very easy
Just go into the config file for Custom NPC's and change the following lines.
#Uses unique entities ids
UseUniqueEntities=false
#To use this UseUniqueEntities has to be false
EntityStartId=141
and
#Start Id for enchants
EnchantStartId=151
This is just one example, there are other mods that the fix is just as easy. If you let us know what other mods you are using, someone can probable tell you what the fix is.
I hate this as:
1) jerky
2) Off topic
on topic, will the only thever chritmas items be removedfrom access? (Hat, presents, crackers, villagers. Etc, et)
I do like the hats, and I wouldn't mind losing the presents. (They seem to be in every mod) How are the mobs being redone? I want to know for my own mods.
Even the texture problems,cause the statues don't have a texture even the weeping angels,and that's just scary like if you go somewhere and you died and you didn't know there was a weeping angel attacking you cause you can't see them,that's gonna be a problem and I wish that will be fix in 1.7.10 oh yeah I forgot can I ask if the mod will be updated will it be in 1.7.10 cause all my mods are 1.7.10 so yeah, I'll be thankful if the texture are fixed
have you tried dalek mod lite? http://dalekmodlite.swdteam.co.uk/ it just has daleks and a cyberman. (maybe a bit more too, but i haven't played it yet.) it's designed to be more compatible.
also merry Christmas everyone. or happy holidays if you prefer that choice of words or you don't celebrate christmas. wishing you all a great holiday season!
This is the same problem I have.
I Don't see you're problems. However, When I scrolled up to day 25 on the calendar button my game froze possibly worse than when I put an Xbox disk in my PS2. But It's Fine Now. And Isnowman works just fine...

This crash looks to be being caused due to the fact that there are too many entities and basically the spawn packet cannot spawn the mob because the ID is cast to a byte which then in a sense breaks. We are working on a new way to get around this so we don't have to worry about this crash anymore, but it will be in either update 38 or 39
don't look in the calendar, 1WTC will be removing the christmas title screen next update or just go into the dalek mod config file and set showdalekmodtitle= from true to false
So is the iSnowman the last item for the advent calendar, or is there something else?
Will the shading problem on the Minecraft mac version be fixed?
that was the 80's interior
the system details portion of the crash report that shows what mods you are using would be very helpfull. Some conflicts are known as well as the fix for them.
Is Custom NPC'S by chance one of the other mods you are using. If so then the fix is actually very easy
Just go into the config file for Custom NPC's and change the following lines.
#Uses unique entities ids
UseUniqueEntities=false
#To use this UseUniqueEntities has to be false
EntityStartId=141
and
#Start Id for enchants
EnchantStartId=151
This is just one example, there are other mods that the fix is just as easy. If you let us know what other mods you are using, someone can probable tell you what the fix is.
great thanks! looking forward to it!

I hate this as:
1) jerky
2) Off topic
on topic, will the only thever chritmas items be removedfrom access? (Hat, presents, crackers, villagers. Etc, et)
Off-topic) Dalek Bob, you are making me laugh.
