I fixed it in our 1.10.2 branch, although there currently aren't any builds, and there won't be until Adubbz configures Jenkins to support the 1.10.2 branch on GitHub.

Oops, I forgot to change the required Forge version in BOP. Update Forge to version 12.18.1.2039 or higher and you should be good to go.
Any way to get the nether biomes in 1.8.9 ? I'm really looking into this !
Guess you haven't looked into it hard enough then, because I answered that 2 pages back, and if they're not in the mod, clearly there's no way to get them...
I'm trying to set up a private server with BOP. I'd like to disable a few biomes and poison ivy but the configs have been changed in the latest version. Is there any way to disable those without using the customize settings? I'm also using RTG so that doesn't work for me.
I'm playing on 1.6.4 with BiomesOPlenty-universal-1.6.4-1.1.3.194.
So, I dug up a large underground cube 64x64x64 and filled the floor with dirt.
Sorta underground garden and stuff..
At first, I lit the space with glowstone and planted it with different BOP trees.
(Light level 12)
I applied the bonemeal and they grew up and everything was ok.
Then, I changed my mind.
I cutted down some trees and then replanted them again in just same place where they was before.
But they just don't want to grow again. No effect with bonemeal.
They have absolutely same free space and light level like before.
I just don't know that to do..
For- stride and clarification, he is talking about the first screenshot of the stairs that I posted.
Ohh, okay, I see what you mean now. I got confused because he said texture, when it's the model that's wrong. It seems the blockstate JSON for stairs wasn't matching vanilla for some reason, so it was using the wrong model for that specific blockstate.
Does someone know of a good looking resourcepack for this mod? Only found PureBDCraft and I don't like the cartoon look. I prefer playing with Gerdoku or something like that but anything better than the default one would be nice too^^.
The mod is very nice in general but I have one problem I'd wish would be adressed:
The mountains are too smooth. Especially the 'alps' biome.
1) Too steep in the rising portion of the mountain
2) Too high mountains in general. It is very difficult to get up them.
The image below shows what I mean. Is there a way to add noise to the mountains?
Is there a sample biome .json config file for 1.10.2 available anywhere? I'm trying to change the Alps variation but I don't think I'm doing it right because they are still generating as that awful flat-topped mesa shape.
Really cool idea you can add in the future (possibly? maybe?) is like a superflat generator specifically for this mod, where you can choose what biome you want the world to be? That or a cheater button where you can choose what biome you want to spawn in at the beginning, (Or you can make it creative specific).
I'm asking because I have some really neat ideas for villages/towns/cities/whatever that are in specific biomes but they're usually kind of hard to find even in creative mode (especially the tropical islands), and it's a bit counter-immersive when there's another biome (especially when it's almost the exact opposite of the biome I'm trying to build in) just a short walk away. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do this with the settings I have now.
I fixed it in our 1.10.2 branch, although there currently aren't any builds, and there won't be until Adubbz configures Jenkins to support the 1.10.2 branch on GitHub.
I think it's fixed in ver. 1.9.4 - 4.1.0.2066
It wont work ok 1.7.10..
Has anyone received this error?
Oops, I forgot to change the required Forge version in BOP. Update Forge to version 12.18.1.2039 or higher and you should be good to go.
You're a lifesaver! Thanks alot.
Staircase connection texture error
Really not sure what you're pointing out, but our staircase models are pretty much complete copies of vanilla stairs, so...
Guess you haven't looked into it hard enough then, because I answered that 2 pages back, and if they're not in the mod, clearly there's no way to get them...
It's not even worth replying to people who can't be bothered to help themselves in any way at all. 1.7.10 needs to just die already anyway
yes! first
Ignore, fixed the problem I was having

Doesnt seem to work for 1.7.10 which is what version i use if anyone could help it would be awsome
I'm personally a fan of John Smith.
