What do you mean by "freezing plants" in the winter? If you're just asking about a texture difference, then it's (mostly) already supported. I've mostly given up on other mods using my API(s), so I went over other modders' heads to add support for seasonal flower textures directly. To make it work, just add a texture icon in the same location as the original, but with "_spring", "_summer", "_autumn", or "_winter" after the original name (right before the .png). If there's a texture with that name, then The Seasons Mod will make the flower use it when it's that season; otherwise it will use the normal texture. Other mod makers might not always like me altering their code to make things work, but I'm sure the texture/resource pack makers will love it ^^
As an example, the Spring texture for white tulips ("\assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\flower_tulip_white.png") would be "\assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\flower_tulip_white_spring.png". It currently only works with single-block flowers (instances of BlockFlower and any classes that extend it), but I do plan to support more plants in the very near future.
Looking at your profile, I see that you have a mod with crops. As long as your crops all extend either BlockCrops or BlockStem, then I've got it covered. There might be way too many things for users to configure for now, but I've got normal growth rates, bonemeal growth boosts, BlockCrops drop count, and BlockStem produce growth rates already taken care of. I've got code for modders to add default settings, but I'll be reworking it to be easier. (supports both buffs and nerfs)

The new loader code I've been working on is coming along nicely. I need to redesign some of the existing code to work with the new system, though, which I wasn't thinking about a week ago.
By the way, this added delay isn't because I'm inept - I'm working on so high of a level with this new code that I'm able to mod Java itself with just a few keystrokes. (Plus, I'm actually doing some light hacking of Java, just to get to where I am now.)
Oh - before I forget, PML will have a new requirement starting with the next version(though it shouldn't really effect anyone). It already requires Java 7, but it will soon require that you use one of the following Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, Linux, or Solaris. I'll address any problems when I'm finished, because it won't be that hard to add any others (I would just need some files).
If you want to check out my new code, just ask and I'll share it with ya'

koffer82 - You need to have those tiny files that are also in the dropbox folder, too. They give PML obfuscation maps so it can do what it needs to. The idea is that you'll almost never need to update them, so you don't need to worry about that part, at least.

Hey! I've started putting together a personal modpack for myself and I remember this mod which I used a while ago. I'm using 1.7.10 along with nei/codechickencore. From what I can tell, currently the mod isn't working with codechickencore, correct? I've read the past few pages and have tested it myself, so I'm guessing that's the problem. Can't wait to put this in the pack as I loved it in the past Keep up the good work The_WeatherPony!
Mr_AppleMan - Basically, don't make money off of my work and don't upload it to be a file mirror. (Some people take my work, upload it to another file hosting service, and put their link on their website behind an ad service, which they use to make money using my hard work. A couple of people just re-upload it.) Most of the TaC are for my unwanted mirrors and the mega-modpacks (the kind with donation buttons claiming the money goes to the modders, but doesn't).
Go for it.
SmuryDoess - Still working on it, and am improving the design change that I'm doing so it won't take as long. I'll do optimizations on it later, just so I can get it out there.

Mr_AppleMan - yeah. A big part of it is "Don't deceive people." (For example, don't have a donate button that looks like it supports the mod makers when it doesn't, like Technic.) I became bothered by people ripping off my work for their own profit/glory, fairly early on...

Mr_AppleMan - you call it "Recording a video of the mod" while I call it "Free advertisement for the mod." Go to town (record as much as you want. make money off of your recordings, if you want. I'm really just against mirrors). The default settings probably aren't enough for anything exciting, though. If you take the time to customize stuff, feel free to share your settings
Zutiiq (1.8.x update) - I'm delaying an upgrade to 1.8.x until after I improve my loader and work out some small issues in the mod, as a favor to a server I'm close with. (I plan to move on to 1.8.x about a week after the changes to the loader.) Once I start, I doubt it will take long to update the mod (and the loader should already be compatible with Minecraft 1.9, even though Mojang/Microsoft hasn't finished it yet!)

1.7.10 beta download folder
To install, put a copy of PML (.jar) into the mods folder, and put a copy of The Seasons Mod (.pmlm) and the tiny files (also .pmlm) into either your mods folder or the new "PMLMods" folder. If you crash with an "ExclusiveObfuscationException" then you didn't put the tiny ones in. (Exclusive Obfuscation Exception = there was nothing that matched the supplied name, since the needed obfuscation map wasn't supplied to PML)
At this time, PML is still incompatible with CodeChickenCore and some other mods. I'm currently working on fixing it.

Say, you wouldn't have anyway of Increasing the amount of days for each season would you? Perhaps being able to set them individually?
Mr_AppleMan - You'll need an NBT editor (I suggest NBT Explorer), and use it to open the mod's .dat files in your world(s). If you royally mess up, you can just delete the file(s) and let the mod make more.
Ulfengaard - I see you're hitting the "like" button for each of my posts again... lol.
