Is it possible to "paste" in (for lack of better schematica term) in some blocks into already existing blocks (the ground).
I was able to last night on one computer and this morning on another the schematic just dissapears when I take it underground.
I'm building a rail road and I'm pasting in gravel ground that matches the rails that I will be putting on top.
Thanks.
No way to show it, due to z-fighting (flashing blocks from the previous beta versions). Only thing that will be visible is the overlay which is offset a bit.
Request: The printer is great, but it obviously has some issues like placing blocks that don't have anything under or next to them. Here is a quick suggestion. Maybe you could implement something using the /fill command. This will lead to things being able to be re-created in seconds on servers where plugins are not available. I don't know much about the /fill command, but it definitely has some great potential with this mod!
The fill command is OP only so that's not really a viable option. As for the no placing of block if no blocks are nearby, that can be turned off. The default are as they are due to Bukkit no cheat plugins. I prefer having the current defaults rather than people complaining about disappearing blocks (all the time).
I'm having a problem with the latest version in that both the flip and rotate buttons are grayed out. I'm sure I'm overlooking something but in case I'm not, how do I turn on the buttons?
my only suggestion is to make the "ghost" of the schematic slightly transparent because as it is it is hard for me to notice if a block (like light blue wool) is there or not.
Minor bug report: the block printer does not attempt to place buttons or levers on the top and bottom faces of blocks (I'm guessing these new positions haven't been added to the code yet). EDIT: derp, this is probably a known issue, based on the main post. Sorry!
RedWingRemixes, you can change the transparency of the schematic by going to the mod config screen, opening the rendering menu, making sure that alpha is enabled, and adjusting the slider as needed. If the blue block outline is still being a problem, you can turn it on and off with the highlight blocks button on the same screen.
would there be a possibility that later on you could make the blocks a liitple opaque or see through. its hard to tell what i haven and havent placed cause they look exactly the smae
I have a problem, i installed the 2 mobs, schematica and lunatriuscore or something that is required for the schematica mod, and when i open minecraft and try to enter in a single player world it just takes me back to the menu.. i cant enter in any worlds it wont let me, it says "loading terrain" like it would normaly, next thing i see, im at the main menu again
I'll need logs/fml-client-latest.log after that happens.
Lunatrius, i'm curious, is there a block limitation to the mod?
i'v e been trying to copy some of my larger projects, and have ended up doing 'left side, right side' type copies in order to get the entire build resulting in having to rebuild in 'sections' as the schematic isnt copying the entire structure. i'll get like 70% of the structure and then the remaining 30 will have to be copied into another schematic
i still have not been able, by the way, to get the 'config' button to work for schematica, but it does work for lunatrius core.
found the log file

that worked to get the config menu working again, thanks!
any luck on figuring out why schematica is not copying the entire build?
when i highlight the build i click red/blue locations
then i put in a name like 'sample'
i click save
i get the message "started saving 420 chunks into sample.schematic
successfully saved sample.schematic
but, as stated before, when i load sample.schematic, only aboiut 70% of the schematic actually appears, the rest looks like it's been chopped off.

Because the client doesn't have those chunks loaded. If you're in SP, get the coordinates and use the /schematicaSave command, that will save the whole thing (in SP only).

hello i have a quick question is it possible to change specific block types such as change oak to dark oak stone to cracked stone etc so you don't get the red over lay for a wrong placed block or so the printing feature can place the blocks you want. for example i have a house i build in a jungle and used jungle wood but now i want to build the same house using dark wood is there a way to edit the schematics?

Hey, I wanna say I really love this mod, as a builder. It's helped me tons of times.
However, the latest version has an incompatibility issue. It doesn't work with Shaders Mod.
So if you're trying to install both and getting a crash report, that's the problem. Make two profiles, or simply remove one or the other depending on what you need. Hopefully this is resolved by one of you guys (no idea what the issue would be). If not, the fix is to just use them separately.

None at the moment.Update to #119.----
Short poll: http://strawpoll.me/3806010
I loaded a small schematic, clicked the rotate button, and immediately crashed.
Fixed in #120. ForgeGradle remapped the method in Schematica but not in LunatriusCore, not sure why it happened.
