Hey is there a fix for MicroBlocks, i tried to create a schematic with Microblocks and Project Red, but when i loaded the schematic it showed an BC Assembly Table where the Microblocks were.
i'm running a custom mod pack on 1.7.10 that includes:
BC, IC2, RailCraft, ForgeMicroBlocks, Project Red, Forestry, GarviSuit, TE, AE, MinfactoryReloaded, IronChests, Extra bees/trees, and ObsidiPlates
OS: windows
Forge: 10.13.1.1217
Not at the moment. I assume that any micro block won't correctly right now with Schematica.
Well, instead of having to export it as multiple schematics you can also try world downloader. It is a mod for minecraft that lets you download where ever you walk. (or near it) it does not save items in chests. (Then again I don't think schematica does either..) It will create a seperate minecraft world for you to enjoy. (Chunk generation will be messed up when you walk away from your base because the seeds are not the same.)
Lunatrius, if you read this, my issues are solved. It was a corrupted set of files in a valid java 1.7 install. My antivirus messed them up after they got infected. (Found this out after my entire Adobe MC 5.5 stopped working )

I just got this mod and love it so far. I had a bunch of geomorph like dungeon pieces that I wanted to make into schematics.
I do have a few questions though.
1. Is there a way once a schematic is placed, and moved to the correct location to simply have the structure build without having to walk all around the structure to have it built? Printing, I'm talking about. Seems like it would be faster to just have the structure built upon hitting a button on the menu like "Build NOW" and then the structure is built.
2. When printing a structure, the floor tiles are highlighted red and I have to click on each block to have it fill in with the proper block type and finish the structure. This is kind of time consuming and I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this or if perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
3. Question on printing. Lets say I wish to build a dungeon hallway and then a room from schematics. I walk in game (Creative Mode) up to the side of a tall mountain. I then insert the schematic of the dungeon hall into the area of the mountain. When printing the hall structure will the schematic remove the blocks that were originally there inside the mountain to build the entire structure with the hollow (empty) hall passage so players can walk through, or do I have to manually remove the blocks from within the mountain?

Thats all for now. Great program.
Thanks,
John
I'm sort of working on the first one, but given all the changes every Minecraft version I might have to delay it until 1.8 when all the things should work out of the box (hopefully).
You can toggle the destruction of block in the options (main screen > mods > select Schematica > config > printer).
Is it possible to change the block type to another so that when you generate a structure it builds it using another block type? Lets say the schematic was originally built with stone blocks but now I wish to build the structure from the schematic using Cobblestone Blocks? Can this be done?

Not (yet). I've been poking at tooltips for schematics, but so far I couldn't make up my mind about a few things. I might end up doing it in two stages, first really simple tooltips (name, block name, metadata) and tile entity data at a later time (chests, furnaces etc). Once the basic tool tips are done I'll see if I can get a few commands in for loading/saving/schematic tweaking (including load-up-last-session - position, rotation etc).
I use MultiMC, I just used our home network to copy an instance from my machine over to my son's machine. In the Schematica.cfg there is a setting, "S:schematicDirectory=". There is an issue that it remembered and created the folder structure from my machine onto my son's machine.

Ok, so in 97+ Schematica will originally set the path as a relative one? If so, Awesome So to correct this older config file, where do i set it to? Is it relative to the config?
S:schematicDirectory=../schematics <<-- this for the place it has always been created?
S:schematicDirectory=schematics <<-- or even this to place the folder in the config folder itself?
On another subject, is there a way to set Schematica so that if I couldn't manually place a block, Schematica won't either? An example of this is in a skyblock situation one is able to build under the platform they are standing on without risking death by placing something like a 3x1x3 schematic at y -2 then letting schematica place blocks where the player could not. I have enough self restraint to not do this, but apparently my son does not
EDIT: P.S. Thanks for the fast response, and thanks yet again for the awesome mods you create I find this, Stackie and InGameInfoXML to be indispensable when picking mods to install.
EDIT2: Just wen't to go download 93 and realized I am using 96 already... So my original question stands, can the default path be a relative one, the one created by Schematica if I were to delete the Schematica.cfg?

If you run it once it should set the correct relative path. f it doesn't you can go on the main menu into Mods > Schematica > Config > General and reset it to default there.
I can look into it. Will have to tinker around with it and hope to get it working (requires a few additional checks, one for each block corner, might be able to lower that).
mods.io is currently implementing something new and the latest version wasn't correctly updated due to a bug. Build 97 should be listed as the main download again.
Sorry but please could you make the download link for schematica more clear. Iv been hunting this page for 10 min now and all i can find is the links to the core and other mods you have done but not the mod im here to download
You can't miss it (SCREENSHOT not actual links \/):
Is this purely client side? What happens if you use this on a server? I know it's not cheating but does it set off flags alerting server mods?
All builds so far are client side only. The build is "universal" instead of "client" because I planned in some features, but didn't get around implementing them. Didn't bother changing it back. Though, the "universal" builds will not crash the server, but they won't do anything either way, until I add things.
I don't plan on adding any kind of "tracker" to the server side.
I haven't been here in a while, how is the updates coming? I can't remember the features that people asked for, I think it was the things like AutoMove, and 3-axis rotate.
If you pastebin.com your logs/fml-client-latest.log file I might be able to figure out something. At this point I'm out of ideas.

Yeah, true. Forgot about WorldDownloader. It's probably way more suited for these things than Schematica is.
i know they used to work with RP, was it something that RP did or was it a change in MC that caused it to not work the same, like the GUID system?
ForgeMultipart (CBMultipart) didn't exist in 1.4.7. Most microblocks use CBMP which sometimes acts rather odd.

.jar.zip => .jar, not .jar.zip => .jar.zip.zip...
Thanks,
John
No Forge for 1.8 yet, unfortunately.
S:schematicDirectory=C:/Users/Oz/AppData/Roaming/MultiMC5/instances/Mega 7-10/minecraft/schematics
I had to alter it on his machine to "C:/Users/billy/......"
Can you make this setting use relative paths by default?
As long as the path is INSIDE the .minecraft it will use relative paths (was fixed in #97).
You can't miss it (SCREENSHOT not actual links \/):
All builds so far are client side only. The build is "universal" instead of "client" because I planned in some features, but didn't get around implementing them. Didn't bother changing it back. Though, the "universal" builds will not crash the server, but they won't do anything either way, until I add things.
I don't plan on adding any kind of "tracker" to the server side.
