The thing is, AdBlock removes support for every modder in the community. I've spent years working on and maintaining this mod, and if someone can't sit through a 5 second ad and simply just click the skip button, they have no appreciation. The fact your against mod reposts too, but suggesting to block support to modders even though it's the official download is contradicting.
So you are saying that using Adblock in fact blocks the revenue even though it shows the skip countdown at the top? I always try to use the Adfly option but until Adfly puts restraints on safe ads that is our only avenue. By the way, protecting the mod authors intellectual work is a totally different subject versus whether or not to use an ad blocking add on. I have in no way suggested blocking support to the mod authors; simply protecting oneself from the inevitable evil of unscrupulous and malicious ad owners and their hosts.

How to make money using AdF.ly, follow these simple instructions:
1. Login to your AdF.ly account
2. Enter a website URL in the white box (e.g. http://www.google.com) and click Shrink
3. Copy-and-paste the AdF.ly link you are given on to your website, in to a forum post or blog post, Facebook status, twitter post etc.
4. Every time someone clicks on that link, you will earn money.
5. Basically when posting messages on the Internet, replace any normal link with AdF.ly links.

Wrong message to quote to get you point across! I can't really do much in 1.7.10 to fix UVs but in 1.8 the squished textures are fixed.
We can appreciate your mod without wanting to download extra new surprises to our computers, y'know? Some Trojans exploit 0-day bugs in Flash or JavaScript to install themselves without anyone clicking on links, so the only safe way is to completely block script execution and ad display from suspect sites. AdFly and AdFocus are KNOWN to serve up malware now and then, so they are suspect sites. Blocking everything also keeps AdFly from working at all, half the time (and for some mods, like yours, all the time, I don't know why).
Why not host on CurseForge? So far, they seem to be pretty good about not serving up things that turn your computer into a botnet zombie.
The same could go for any ad or website you visit. Anyway, to come to a conclusion, I'm considering creating a Patreon page for support, which is completely ad free.

i tried to make a C++ Blocklauncher addon(Trying to make an mcpe version of The Weird Things Mod), but i find it really hard to code in C++, so congratulations on making an mcpe version and keep up the good work
Hey no problems I still use the curtains and the blinds either way . Adds that little something extra Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just heard that the latest versions of forge have given us back limited OBJ modeling support. Is this right? The creator of Bibliocraft mentioned it in a blog post.

Now if there were a simple mod that would allow you to add what you create as custom items by placing them in its own config directory, this would so rock! My achievements seem to be marked as invalid, which is causing them to show up every single time I place/use any items that have achievements after them.

If its alright I'd like some help please, I'm trying to add an option to mineBay to buy diamonds for iron and emeralds for diamonds but I can't figure out how to put the recipe into the mod, could someone give me some very clear and simple instructions on how to do this please?

I assume you're using the 1.8 version, in which case you should have received a chat message when trying to place the kitchen counter saying that it has not been added yet. I think that the message is self-explanatory: You'll have to wait until the mod is fully updated to 1.8.
I am having trouble getting the PE version to work. D/led it from Google Play, along with the block mod program thing it requires. That other program not done by Mr. Crayfish isn't loading - just black screens. I'm assuming I need to enable the mod through that?
Also, is the current version compatible with the recent 'custom skins' update for PE?

how to download the MOD?
Hey I am currently trying to install the 1.6.4 version on my tekkit server and it seems as if the jar doesn't work in the mods folder. Any ideas?

I'd like to ask a thing: blinds could connect vertically. If you close one, all the other blind blocks in the same coord would close.
