I cant figure out how to install the 1.6.4 version (mc noob here) but i have a suggestion for an update. you could make an enchantment to make items invisible when placed or appear as other items and have a rune to power their invisibility and you have to destroy it to see properly again. for example you could make a house on the inside of a mountain but the door looks like stone until youre right up close which basically means you already knew it was there. or something you can add to runes already placed to make them invisible so you could have a security system of fire and lightning booby traps and you wouldnt know theyre there unless you placed them or disabled their invisibility somehow. or of course triggered them. awesome mod btw this has so much potential!

An invisible blocks rune would be... challenging, I would say. I may look into it when I am finished rewriting the core mechanics of the mod for Minecraft 1.7.2. Invisibility could also be hard to balance, but it is a very cool idea nonetheless.
you could also have the reverse of that. blocks that would seem like they're there but disappear when you get close or deactivate the rune. sort of an illusion rune. it'd be fun to create quests and stuff with this. Also I would like there to be maybe a rpg version of the mod that does the same stuff just doesn't break the 4th wall as much (eg bug notes, and the title page of the runic tome/lexicon being "runic dust mod"). I actually found this mod by accident looking for a mod that allows you to type in runic script, like whats in the enchantment table, to set up quests and story lines and that jazz. If you could add that to this mod and maybe put your own spin on it that would be epic too
I am having a few problems. first, on the download page, there is a coremod version for 1.5.2, and it works fine, with no effects but there is no default runes pack for 1.5.2, only 1.5, but this crashes minecraft when i try to use it. second, the main page says that this mod is for 1.5, but the downlads page has it updated to 1.6. not a huge problem, just a little misinformation.

I've been looking for your mod everywhere in at least 1.7.10 and I can't find it anywhere, also I've never installed mods before so if someone could help me out with that it would be appreciated, ur mod is one of the 2 I want to download it seems soooo AWESOME.
Does this mod interact with botania thaumcraft or blood magic?
This mod is for Minecraft 1.5, a version for which neither botania nor blood magic had a release. As for thaumcraft, I don't recall runic dust having any specific interactions.
