When I installed this mod for 1.7.10 (forge) the game crashed half way into loading and Open Eye said there was an incompatible mod in "enviroment Optifine". Is this mod seriously incompatible with optifine or is it something else? Could it by any chance be Orespawn?
I've always loved the Battle Towers, especially when I first found them on the Yogbox some years back. The one thing I never understood though is why you make the treasure so under-whelming. The only thing maybe worth it at all is the top floor. Not including the monstrosity on the top floor, each floor has two spawners, making you have to do some serious fighting just to reach those chests, and when you find things like 'wheat' and sticks.....it's like "Why am I even doing this?"
It just seems for the default you can offer a 'little' more than that. And yes, I know people can adjust the config files. But I'm going to have to waste a half hour trying to figure all this out and make the modifications on something I feel should have already been atleast a little better by default. I mean, it is so much to ask to maybe get some wooden tools or leather armor in the beginning, working your way up to getting better adventure like things as you go? I mean, the tower is based on adventure. I just feel the rewards should be a bit more......rewarding.
Loot with meta data doesn't spawn in 1.7.10, it seems.
EDIT: It works now. The config setting Item Generations per Floor can be quite misleading. At first I thought this setting would define the amount of loot each chest contains. But it actually defines the variety of items in loot chests and not the amount, so be aware.
I had actually reached out to AtomicStryker several months ago, to see if he had plans on updating this mod, and he said this:
There is the drop-through-the-floor bug which would require an extensive bug hunt which i simply dont want to do. So, no update in sight. Likely ... ever
I spawned a type 4 battle tower above ground while on creative mode to test it out. I think the golem either fell through the floor or was killed by a mob. The problem is that the tower starting destroying itself, but never stopped. Once it got towards the bottom, the message of destruction appeared again and it just started destroying the air all the way down on a loop. The deletebattletower command didn't work and I couldn't stop the destruction loop.
Aside from that, super awesome mod. I'm looking forward to customizing the items that appear and spawning them in a few locations on my map.
After another look through the sourcecode i probably fixed the "falling through floor" issue. The patch is online for versions 1.10.2 and 1.11.2, Battletowers version 1.5.6

Will the towers generate in Biomes O' Plenty biomes? If so, how regularly?

is there a way to blacklist dimensions? because the arcana rpg mod is not compatible

So i finally sat down and just got it to work for 1.10.2
Didn't encounter the "fall through floor" bug, so still don't know what is happening there

If you can figure out how to trigger it happening reliably i can try to investigate
EDIT: Would also take a save (please no mods other than Battletowers) where it is about to happen? IDK
Ported to 1.11. Did not hunt for the falling-through-floors bug at all, and i only made sure the golem doesnt immediatly crash. So, uh, report issues
